Do you smoke? If so, how much a day do you average? What do you smoke? Are you trying to quit? Do you want to quit?

I started trying weed last winter, and i have been doing it off and on. did it a lot in spring break, then again a lot during the summer. right now (since school started) I have done it once every 2 weeks (somewhat). Want to quit? eh. i dont want to make it something i'd do it in a daily (or weekly) basis though

I do smoke. I smoke like 5/6 ciggs a day. I always smoke Marlborro, all the others are crap. Don't feel like quitting, cause I already quit marihuana like a month and a half ago. Money is not a problem for me and as for my health, I feel healthy and I do fitness alot. If I like it, I'll do it. I just hate those people who keep telling me to stop because it's unhealthy blabla, like I don't know that either.
When I was younger I used to hate smoking alot, couldn't even stand the smell of it when someone else was smoking. But I guess people change

Nope. Why would I? I don't fear peer pressure, so I've never had any reason at all to try it. I can't actually even think of any reason why I'd even consider it...

It's not like all people start because of peer pressure. I started smoking when I used to drink. I first smoked 1 cigg on saturday. the next week I smoked one too. then it went from 1 to 2, from 2 to more. then i started to smoke during the week sometimes. then I started to smoke more more until I found myself buying the my first marlboro pack lol

It's sneaky how it starts. but I don't really care about it, I still enjoy a cigg, especially when I'm drinking.

Well how did you even get to that first one? why smoke just cause you drink?
Hell, I don't even drink. It just tastes bad, so I stay away from it as much as possible. I think I've drunk 1 little bottle this year and that's all. The only reason I even did is because I just want to learn to drink the crap. I figure doing that much might just come in handy in life at some point.

I've never smoked weed or anything like that. Started with cloves, went to camel crushes, and then switched to Marlboro's. Though I do like to mix things up every now and then with, occasionally I buy American spirits, or Camel menthol Crushes.
I started smoking like 2 years ago, at first very rarely, like a 12 pack of cigs (Lol I know, 12 pack is weird), would last me 1-2 weeks. But it gradually became more and more, until the past few weeks I'd been smoking about 15 cigs a day. And I'd been thinking about quitting for a while now, but just never could/wanted to do it.
Up until 2-3 days ago, that is. Haven't had a cig in like 2 1/2 days (In like 5 hours it'll be 3 days, or 72 hours). And I must say, it wasn't nearly as hard to quit as I thought it would be. Now, I know I haven't been "clean" for long, and therefore, am no expert on the subject of quitting.
But just last night, I could physically feel improvement in my health. Had so much energy. Was playing volleyball, basketball, football, etc while doing all sorts of random shit with friends. Haven't felt that good in a very long time. And the high off of that is probably better than any nicotine high. I'm just saying.
But yeah, peer pressure isn't what made me start smoking, as much as it was curiosity. Plus, smoking is such a social thing and has been a great experience to share with my friends, coworkers, family, and random strangers.

@ poehalco
someone offered me a cigg when I was quite drunk. I accepted it without thinking and just wanted to try out what it felt like. it was quite good lol, i enjoyed it. so that's how I began. But I can say with confidence that I can quit anytime I want now, especially since I don't smoke that lot. sometimes I don't smoke for 2 days without even noticing it. but that's exactly why I don't quit either. if I feel like it, I do it.
@ tasdik
the most important thing you need to do when you are trying to quit smoking is avoiding people that smoke. it's very hard for you to stop if you get faced with it each time. temptation can be irresistible.

Nah, they're a waste of money.
I've lived with smokers for years, 4/5 of my co-workers smoke, I just don't care for the taste or smell.
Both and mom and dad, 2 co-workers, and several family members have had heart attacks or other serious medical issues directly related to cigarettes.

Yeah, I haven;t had a problem with it so far. But we shall see how it goes. Just staying busy trying to get physically active again. I used to be back in the day, but haven't been for a while. 6-pack is starting to emerge. Can't wait to see what it looks like in a month or so.
But yeah, my first time smoking was curiosity. when you have your first cig, you don't picture yourself becoming a regular smoker. It just...happens.

Beer.
So far I've discovered one Drink that I like:
Mastika, had a sip in Bulgaria. Tastes like licorice, looks cool as well.

When the iceblocks melt, they turn white and you get this awesome ethereal-looking waterfall.

Yup, cant say how many I smoke a day since it differs alot. But usually 10-15, and when drunk up to 2 and a half pack if unlucky. I tend to smoke alot more when drinking, always wake up with a slight anxiety when that happens lol. Any ways, I usually smoke Pall Mall since they are the cheapest, yet they taste good.

Beer is not that bad. Sometimes it tastes bad, but sometimes it's great. There are a lot of other tastes out there in the alcohol world though, can't say all of it tastes bad if you have only tried so much.

I smoke weed ocasionally and same goes for nicotine.
Thing is my entire group of friends is fighting nicotine addiction as in we all don't want to get addicted but we all enjoy it.
Right now we've decided to only smoke when we go out, but I don't know how well that's going to work out.
My issue is that I can go a couple days without smoking without feeling anything, but that's the tricky part, I think.

There's a reason why people die from smoking. It addicting, no doubt about that. Thing is, you've got to decide what kind of person you'd like to be. Do you want to be that person who has to smoke every 2 hours? Or do you want to get healthy, and be physically active?

Only social smoking nowadays (buy my own cigs though, hate the leechers).
Around a pack a week, down from a pack every other day.

Don't smoke, the cost of health and money is just not worth it.
My dad used to smoke a lot, but he's cut down a lot now. In those days, I've definitely inhaled my fair share of second hand smoke.

I smoke cloves... used to smoke camels and camel crush's. Can't stand the smell of it anymore. I can smoke upwards of 4 or 5 a day depending on the mood.
Currently easing out of the habit though. Will smoke one on occasion. Mainly when drinking. Elsewise I stay clear of cigs.

As of this summer I've been smoking weed pretty much everyday. Funny because if you look back at my posts a couple years ago I was just talking about getting into marijuana with my friends. I used to just pitch in the few times I'd blaze with them but now I just buy my own shit and smoke out of my pipe.Light up before going to sleep, feel great for my 8:00 AM Calculus lecture. Plus buying a grinder just made the experience ten times better.

Used to smoke weed....never touched the cancer sticks (cigarettes) and I never will...Cant trust corporations more than I'm already forced to.. Any kind of smoking just limits your physical abilities and increases health problems...Just not worth your health or your money....

I've smoke cannabis and tobacco. Cigarettes are only desired when I'm a couple beers deep. I've bought probably 15 packs of cigarettes in the 2 years I've been smoking cigarettes. There was a time when I was actually smoking with regularity but it didn't last very long and a 25 pack lasted 2 or 3 days. I just stopped enjoying the taste when I was sober. I enjoy them when I'm drinking because of the head rush.
I smoke joints or hit a vaporizer at night, usually a couple hours before bed. 7 grams last 8-12 days unless I'm sharing with people. I generally smoke by myself. I don't feel a need to quit because I can afford the $55 it costs me a few times a month and I enjoy it.
Cigars are for celebratory occasions.

Marlboro. I smoke irregularly. I can go on for weeks or even up to 3 months without even being tempted to smoke then I'd smoke a stick or a pack in 1 day then stop again. I only smoke when I feel the urge but I think a huge deterrent is that I used to smoke when I was headed to work/school. Now that I work in a healthcare setting, I don't want to come to work smelling like cigarette smoke for obvious reasons.

Never did and never will. Though, my parents smoke for like already 20 years, so I've been a second hand smoker my whole life. I don't smoke because I can't stand the smell of those, and whenever someone's smoking, I try to get as much away as possible.

Am I the only one who finds it weirdly bizarre that a substance as addictive as cocaine is used my so many people and sold so easily?
It's interesting to see how it plays with people's minds.
