Quinoa is a high-protein grain that's calorie-dense, so it can be helpful for gaining muscle. One-quarter cup serving of quinoa contains 172 calories, with less than 3 grams of fat, 31 grams of carbohydrates and 6 grams of protein. In addition, research from a 2011 issue of Food Chemistry magazine found quinoa to be rich in ecdysteroids. A study published in a 2010 issue of the Journal of Steroid Biochemistry and Molecular Biology found that ecdysteroids encourage increased muscle mass and reduced fat mass.
that shit is just Farking awesome, I've been eating 2 cup of it everyday for a week, took 5 pounds

not a big fan of supplements myself. most of those studies when you look into them turn out to be by the 'scientists' who created that product, so be careful about that. I only use Napalm (that sh1t is cheating, it gives me 300% the energy I normally have lol, so I can do cardio for quite a long time) and ofcourse protein shake for muscle recovery.
I really recommend Napalm though, be vast because they are planning to ban it soon lol so it's on sale on prettu much every site that sells. I used to buy 330 grams for 65 euro, now I get it for 20 euro. they want to get rid of their stock before it becomes illegal to sell.

rofl there must be a reason why they will ban it :s
I only take iso whey, im not a fan of pre workout stuff, i usually just mix gatorade with 100mg of pure caffein powder that i bought on ebay

I don't know why they're banning it, but I can't understand alot of the decissions the healthboards usually make. I've never heard anyone having problems cause of it, and all my friends use it. I've never had any problems as well. It can't be worse then gatorade+100 mg pure cafeine lol
I use it because it's the only pre workout that actually works. I take one spoon of this sh1t and I can run 10 kilomters+ non stop. perfect for cardio.

Heard quinoa is good for you, and based on the nutrients it gives you im pretty sure it is. But shoot, if I wanted to gain more muscle/bulk I can do it easily with regular carbs and protein sources since im fairly sensitive.
Probably good cutting food though

I went through a period of wanting to build muscle and was taking whey protein shakes after working out and realized that I was gaining bigger muscles a tad bit too quick which made me question what I was putting inside my body so I stopped..

Well that's a first time I hear someone complain about getting too big too fast. I've been working out quite a bit since my last encounter with the psycho marine. Guess my sense of helplessness has to be countered some way. Anyways, this stuff expensive?

Wouter, check http://www.xxlnutrition.nl. It's the best site with very fast delivery and decent prices. They have all kinds of supplements, so look around and see if there's anything you like.
If you want pre workout energy, I'd recommend Napalm.
If you want to increase in muscle, I'd advise NoxiPro.

Woutr is Dutch
It's meant for Dutch customers. I recommended him this site because I think it's best for Dutch people who are interested in supplements. They guarantee fast delivery and good service.

when you first start building muscle, is when you make the most drastic changes. it slows down dramatically later on, and whey doesnt make muscles.
