So me and my main bitch want to start a book together, but we don't know what book to choose lul.

My girlfriend reads a bunch of books, but I never read books. Since I have something capable of reading e-books now, I figured I might as well give it a try.

What we don't want:
-A book that's like a thousand pages; so none of that Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire shit or w.e
-Some stupid ass teen-fiction vampire romance shit
-Non-Fiction; those tend to be biographies and shit and kinda boring; so none of that
-HORROR

What we do want:
-A good read
-Something that's likely to become a movie. Shit like The Hunger Games, Life of Pi, Harry Potter, etc. (BUT NOTHING WITH LIKE A MILLION PAGES)
-Mainstream, a best-seller or some shit

Humor is a big+ (But can't be stupid)

So what does SRF suggest? :sohappy:

http://www.amazon.com/Penpal-Dathan-Aue ... rds=Penpal

It's a great book and the story behind it is awesome. It's not too long, something like 300pages or so with good sized text.

Pretty much this started as a series of posts on NoSleep on Reddit. Based on reviews and feedback, the author started up a KickStart to raise money to get it published. This is the result of that and it's an amazing read.

The Sex Lives of Cannibals.

One of my favourites. Easy read.
