Barack Obama threw down for 12 beers at the Iowa State Fair yesterday -- like a boss -- and the crowd loved every second of it ... shouting "FOUR MORE BEERS!"

The video's hilarious -- Obama even tells the crowd, "Hey everybody who's over 21, you gotta buy a beer!" Let's see Paul Ryan pull something that cool.

BO shelled out cash for 12 beer tickets -- two for himself ... and ten for the next ten customers to approach the tent.

Eh? Grown man buys product which he is perfectly inclined to buy and consume. I fail to see why this is news. Whether he drinks or not is hardly interesting?

The fact that the president bought beers for people is what makes it news worthy. How often does that happen in such a casual way? Don't act like you wouldn't think it'd be Farking amazing if Obama bought you a beer.

A figure head is just another person. At the end of the day, no matter what your title is, your the same as everyone else. Celebrity, president, school janitor; I care not. We are all just people, simple as that. I honestly would not be amazed, at all, if he bought me a beer. I'd be grateful, sure. If anything I'd be cynical and simply think he was trying to buy some votes with a bit of booze. But I know I'm far too judgemental in regards to these things.

I like my news to be defined not by the rarity of an event, but rather the significance. 'Hey, look everyone, Obama just wore a pair of purple sneakers to a funereal! How often does that happen? I better make a news story about it!' >_>

I have no idea what TMZ is so I'm unsure what sort of material they post. I was more so questioning why Tasdik posted it in the first place, because us gaming nerds are totally interested in tabloid politics and all.

He is using taxpayers money to buy those 10 beers. The question is whether it is fair to Mormon taxpayers to have their tax money used on alcohol which is prohibited in their religion...

Obama used his own money, you know he does make more than the $400k from being president, and if that was all he made it's still his damn money. Next stupid comment I see I'm going to rage so hard RuYi is gonna drop the ban hammer on me. I'm pretty sure TheDrop was being facetious, and simply generalizing what some conservatives would say about the given situation.

As for my comment, it was a slight at his ridiculous wealth redistribution ideology, not about whose money he bought a few beers with. I thought I knew a couple things about politics, but I guess I didn't know the president had a life and money before becoming president, thanks for the eye opener, brah.

So before you make your little "Idc-bout-politics-but-I-get-extremely-pissed-off-when-people-have-dissenting-views" lib-rage comment, might wanna check yourself. At the end of the day, nobody gives a flying **** who bought who a beer, unless there was a dead hooker involved(And even then... :wink:

).
