He's joined Instagram.

OMFG
Iran had recently come under fire for reports that it would shut down Internet access for its citizens by August. Iran has denied the rumor, calling it a hoax by “the propaganda wing of the west.”
Critics pointed out last year that it seems hypocritical for a leader to be active on social media in a nation that shut down Internet access in the country days before a protest. Some just see Khamenei’s Instagram account as its own type of propaganda.

It's like Twitter, only with photos. I don't know if they intended Instagram to be used the way it is, but isn't it pointless when people take pics of basically everything they see during a normal day in their lives. I wouldn't be surprised if they started taking pics of their shits aswell and putting a cheap filter on it to make it look not so gross.

Yes, but its just basically a way for ppl to share shit they see everyday..if you feel like someone's pics are pointless then dont follow them, lolz.

Some of my friends are exactly the same, taking some random ass photo's of shit like candy bars and even his lighter 1 time
Everyone just seems to jumps on the bandwagon, give it a little while and something else will pop up.

Yes.
My only issue with Instagram is a lack of an age limit to use, so the swarm of 12 year olds make a shit ton of One Direction posts that clog up the popular page. Other than that I just follow friends and anyone who I think has good pictures. Every once in a while you find a gem

In all fairness, for Facebook at least, it was a very convenient way to stay in touch with friends who moved away or from your childhood. I went to school on a military base and because of this, a lot of my friends moved away in the middle of the year because their parents got orders. Facebook provided a medium for us to stay in touch in different time zones and such.
However, once the kids got ahold of it, it turned into "Taking a poop lol" and stuff like that.

I post absolute nonsense, much like this, and get over 1/4 of my friends list liking it (I only have 44 friends, I'm only friends with people who I actually spend time with in real life with the exception of Isis and maybe one or two others). To make things more infuriating, my notes, which I spend a lot of time compiling deep and in-vocative thoughts into, get no attention at all! If anything Facebook keeps proving to me people would much rather hear about what breakfast cereal I'm eating as opposed to my opinion on social inequity.

Cause facebook isnt a forum where you talk a bunch of shit as if you know it all (not meaning to refer to anyone). People want to stay as far from shit that matter as they can, unless ofc its trending.

It's true though I'm a bit of a hater, when I see people with 5000 tweets who tweet 10 times a day..How many people really need to know what you're doing every 30 minutes. I have a reasonable feeling that there may be a function that explains narcissism in terms of tweets, followers and following counts.
