its 5am right now and i cant get to sleep due to my room being blisteringly hot -.-

my room is small... south facing... and in a fully insulted house. we have no air conditioning and my room is by far the hottest in the stupid house.

its about 34C or 95F and probably close to 100% humidity -.- its a sweaty muggy heat that makes you feel sticky, not like the lovely hot weather california gets (i was there 2 weeks ago... similar temperature but very low humidity.)

even in the winter i resort to short sleeves and shorts!

anyone else hate the heat? id buy a full fridge for my bedroom to stock ice cubes if it would fit -.-

I'd love a mini-fridge in my room.

During summer in my town it's 42C-47C. Every. Single. Day. Don't even try to tell me that 34C is hot >_>

picture this a romantic day out with the missus, picnic, sun, beautiful views...puffy eyes, constantly sneezing, looking and feeling like death unable to enjoy your time.

we dont have ac in the uk -.- its cool enough most of the time... its just a few weeks in the summer.

i dont know if you ever been to the uk but we dont have pool parties... we dont have bbq's because when there is heat, its also usually cloudy or rain is just around the corner (thats why it gets muggy) and the nearest beach to me is a mud beach... the nearest nice beach is about 2 hours away =(

MrTwilliger where are you from? ive been to cuba dominican republic and recently was in california, ive experienced 4xC heat but its dry heat... and most people have aircon. dry heat is nice because it doesnt make you feel like a sweaty mess when you are inside or in the shade -.-

Twilliger is Aussie, I believe. Especially in the west/north-westerly parts of Australia gets hot. I live on the East side, so it's a bit cooler, but still, 34 degrees is pretty common, almost all year round.

Lol betches PLEASE i've lived in dubai, we saw 50C constantly around mid july-august! With 300% humidity, the type where your glasses fog when transfering from house to car...

you live in the uk like me and are complaining about heat...wtf is wrong with you we only get it for like 7 days a year, we do have bbq's mainly when we see sun we get a bbq out, pool parties? bitch please we aint got no pool xD

As mentioned previously I am from Australia. I don't have aircon, though. We have a pool but I rarely swim in it, swimming isn't exactly my thing. I like summer; it's when I do most of my exercise. Cricket on the weekends, running after work each day, the sun feels nice on the body. More so than the cold anyway :p

Pff, dont whine. 40C here today, I would kill for 34C when it's that hot anyday..

yea id much rather it be winter... cannot stand lieing in my room with the fan on full blast in my face and im still sweating and sticky.

as i said... ive been to cuba where its around 47 but the heat is different, i can at least sleep -.- i feel that its hot but it doesnt make me sweaty or sticky.

Invest in a fan I guess =/ or as others said sleep nude, open your windows (assuming you have windows LOL)

I don't like the heat either however i have to say this summer hasn't been to bad specially since i live right next to the beach. And trying to sleep at night really sux but a glas of Slivovitz and i sleep tight.

Well... temperatures higher than 42C/107.6F may be a little extreme.

im thinking of buying ice cube packs and tieing them around my wrists and keeping one on the back on my neck. or drenching my bed sheet in water before i lie on them -.-

ive opened my windows and my door... i have 2 fans in my room. my blinds are closed to reflect the suns heat and i sleep nude. fk this im moving to mars. its colder there.
