I refuse to acknowledge any sort of event other than one time. That time will be the night before when I party as absolutely hard as I can just in case the world does in fact end. If it doesn't, well, I'll have one huge ass party story to tell.

I plan on dying while having sex. Much like that one news story about the Husband who had heart problems, and then took his dad's Viagra, and died while mid-sexing on top of his wife. Sure that's probably scarred the wife. But hell, if you're going to die anyways, might as well go out with a bang.

How about we make this concept much more realistic: You just got diagnosed with cancer and have 6 months to live. /no "lulz 2012" trolls

It's not something I've given much thought, all of my plans and goals are long term. I'd spend my final few months making a list of all the people who mean the most to me and make sure I have some great final moments with them. I'd do a bit of a world trip just to see all the things I've wanted to see and experience. Most of all, I'd spend a lot of my time coming to terms with who I am, what I've done and the moments I've experienced. I'd be a bit upset, sure, but I think I could deal with it. At the end of the day we are all lucky to even be alive in the first place.

Assuming if I would be 100% sure it would end at that date I would start doing everything forbidden by law a few days before it lol... I mean why not.

That 21.12 is old news. I heard it in the radio a while back that they were wrong and they found a new Mayan calendar where the end would be much further.

You can't pretend that your going to die, but it's possible that we can pretend our whole world as we know it will end?

Why not? Because morality shouldn't be defined by consequence. I, for example, couldn't kill someone and rob them of their few final days on this earth. I'd be pissed if they did it to me, so why would I do it to them? Morality shouldn't be about whether you get caught or not, but rather doing the right thing because it's inherently right.

For the lazy people that don't wanna read, it pretty much explains how 21 dec 2012 is somewhat similar to the arrival of the 2000s. It's just a big milestone in the calendar. Nothing will happen.

this family on wifeswap did the "don't have to pay till 2012" thing on all their purchases. and they are training on what to do when that happens. they have hazmat suits, food, tents, hunting stuff etc.


But a few months ago they found a newly discovered mayan calendar that went past the dec 21st date.
