What's up SRF, so my school ball is coming up in a few days and I need some opinions on my suit. Imagine it with a navy blue tie instead of a black tie and a black Hermes belt with gold buckle (instead of the black one). Also, ignore the fact that the belt is black, I'm not buying a brown one just to match my shoes.


So I guess what I'm asking is, anything I should change?

Dude, need to loosen up. Trying to be honest here, try to make it look less nerd-ish. It could be just me, it could be the suit color, it could be your hair or your glasses... Has to be that formal?

If you're going to wear blue tie atleast buy a belt that matches your shoes. Otherwise you're just going to have too many colours on you and you're going to look like a colorblind idiot.

If your budget allows for it i would indeed get different shoes.
(Mine are navy blue, even though it doesn't show to well on my shitty phone-camera)

Personally i like the wider kind of ties more as well.

Besides that i don't think there's anything wrong with your suit, have a great time at the ball!

You're doing it right man. Good fit on everything. I would seriously try to find a matching belt though, that's ruining the whole deal... swing by goodwill or the women's shelter and see if they have anything. You'd be surprised what you can find for cheap.

Looks good. The only thing I would change are the shows, really. But maybe that's more a personal opinion. I really like black (kinda shiny) leather shoes.

Yeah I was afraid that that would happen. But I really don't have the money to buy another belt. I'll see what I can do though because that really puts me off.

I know that Hermes is a bit ostentatious to wear to a high school ball, but my date is wearing a gold accessory and my buckle would match it. I'll definitely look around though because I need a brown belt damn it!

Okay, that was a shit load of quotes. And about getting a wider tie, I probably will do that. The suit came with that one so yeah, I still need to go and buy one. I'll totally be broke by the end of the week

And about the haircut, I'm not changing it drastically. Last year I got it re-styled and I hated it, just getting a trim and style this year.
