I do wonder if she was on drugs or had some kind of mental breakdown... obviously she's a racist, that shit comes out when you go nuts, but I do feel like she must have been on something to have no restraint at all.

You'll be surprised. It's not unusual for me to see these type of people on the bus. I'm not talking about children in high school who have a tendency to act like a walking Id - I mean full-grown adults in their 30's or 40's who otherwise have no visible disabilities other than a possible personality disorder. Mostly occurs to people who have a grandiose delusion of entitlement, therefore they feel like they're above the judgement of other people even when they act this stupid.

This is why i'm afraid of certain people in dark alleys.

the term "racism" seems to sway in favor of ethnic minorities so much here in the uk that in my opinion its swaying too far in favor for them.

how far do we have to go before white people are made to be looked down upon by black people because if they speak up its said to be "racist"

a term of what i mean is expressed in this video...
im a white person and if i say "*****" im a racist.
but a black person can say it and its ok, yet its still an offensive word... this is something a black person can do but a white person cant?

if people want equality on all terms then the extremes of BOTH sides need to be removed. you can see that even the black people in this video were distressed by what she was saying,

Yea, nothing would matter because calling someone a "rich snob" or "homeless" isn't exactly racially motivated. There can be people of any race that are rich snobs or homeless.

What Macs and you said above aren't as related as you might believe. He put out a generalization on a group of people, hence the response. You on the other hand, asked why if you were to say ***** it would be seen as more so racist than if a black person was saying it to another.

You can take a moment to consider the history of the word, then you might see why a white person could get less slack on it more than a black person. However, if you haven't met a lot of blacks that weren't offended, disappointed, etc. whenever that word was spoken regardless of whom said it, then I suggest you talk to more black people. Though, I'm not talking about the stereotypical "gangsta" ones...

well we could try to say "French Frogs" or "Cherokee Scum" or something of this kind.... you cant get put into prison in the uk for these

We live in a world where it Racist to acknowledge the color of another persons skin, unless they are a white person being acknowledged. I find that utterly ridiculous. White people are racists if they do such a thing.

Example A: Black guy calls a white guy a cracker in a crowd. General response: "White boy's getting his ass kicked"
Example B: White call calls a black guy a Ni***r in a crowd.
General response: "White boy's getting his ass kicked"

They say it to each other casually, and rappers say it at least a hundred times in their songs, but as soon as somebody that isn't black says the word, they start shitting bricks. The only reason why anybody says it is because it's used so much that you don't even think it's that derogatory; it might even be a formality among your friends. Sometimes, I just think they look for a reason to get angry and call people racist because they think we owe something to them. You don't see people going around calling their friends chinks/frogs/gooks/etc. because they're not used as much in media as n*gger is. But hey, that's the way the cookie crumbles.

Should replace "they" with "some" and this might get somewhere. The way people bring up this argument makes it seem that all black people are like this, while in reality it's the ignorant, standard "gangsta" types that most people assume black people stereotypically are that typically use the word extravagantly. I never use the word to another person whether it be rarely or casually, nor does any other black person I personally know. My name isn't "*****;" We have names and we use them.

Then again it's annoying the amount of white people that have asked me about this subject...These are the general answers I wish to convey to all the ignorant white people that have, or will approach me on the subject irl but some never seem to understand: I don't know why some black people use the word a lot; I don't, nor ever cared that some use the word a lot; I don't know every other black person; being friends with a black person/people doesn't make it alright to use the word; You can use the word, but use it at your own discretion; and no I don't "got" your back when you slip up and use it at the wrong time and place.

what i mean is that if it is said from a black person to another black person people dont get offended by that...
the person the word was said to may get offended but other people just assume its "a word they use"

if a white person said it to his black friend then it would be deemed as racist... yet the whole idea that you assumed a white person saying a word is racist... is racist as it is!
