Just out of curiosity whats the best car you have driven in? By best I mean personal choice of steering, power, and good feeling in general, could be anything. Personally i've driven a
Volkswagen Golf R32 2008 , Subaru Impreza STI WRX 2011 , Volkswagen Rabbit 2009 , Toyota Yaris 2006 , Mazda 3 2005 , Toyota Sienna 2005 ,
Toyota Land Cruiser Prado 1997 , Dodge Magnum 2006 , Dodge Caliber 2007 , Ford Focus 2005.
Out of all those the one I liked the best was the Golf R32, although it is an automatic DSG gearbox, (I prefer Standard), the big leather seats are super comfy, and the suspension isn't too hard on the butt, compared the the STI. I don't hate the STI but the racing seats would be a big no no if I had to drive for more than 1hr. The one I hated the most was the Toyota Yaris. Wow that thing was horrible, the steering was worse than a friggen boat. It would not turn, and there was a loose fit. The car is too small for me, and there is not much to do about that.
My daily car is the volkswagen rabbit, I don't hate it, its a nice smooth car, with lots of power when needed, just gas wise isn't very nice to the wallet. The seats do tend to get uncomfortable after a while of driving, but I guess any car could be that way.
Whats your experience with cars? What have you driven you find most comfy. Doesn't need to be some holy crap fancy car, like I said, personal preference.
P.S. Some cars I named, I only drove once or twice. P.S.S. The pictures are the exact replica of what I drove, from model, to paint, to wheels.

The best one would have to be my parents car: Mitsubishi Lancer Sportback:
The seats are extremely comfortable, and even though you can easily find cars with more horse power, I've never driven a car with better comfort.

Nice I like it, but why did they go for a hatch back? I think (personal choice) that the lancer hatch back is a kill joy for the lancer series, the level of difference compared to the normal 4 door sedan is just so big. (I guess they got that one for practicality) but nonetheless when I compare the volks golf to the jetta, both are equally good looking. The back of the lancer hatchback is horrendous, (personal tastes) I guess you get used to it after a while. But every time I see one on the roads I cringe haha

I'm 20 years old at the moment so my experience is fairly limited. I've driven a BMW 1 series
Spoiler!
A Renault Megane dci (most luxurious edition)
Spoiler!
A Citroën C1
Spoiler!
and my own car A Toyota starlet
Spoiler!
Personally i liked the Renault Megane dci best in driving comfort. Heated leather seats, really steady on the road and easily powerful enough to overtake anything on Dutch highways (at 120-130 km/h). It had lots of little gadgets and computer systems for steering control and corrections on breaking, cruise control etc, but i never really used those as i like to feel that i'm driving myself. Also, it's a nice perk to be able to drive about 1400 km on one tank of diesel if you're going to be driving long distances. The BMW was great for fun driving, rear wheel drive and lots of power, decent in comfort too, but nowhere close to the Renault.
Needless to say both the Citroën C1 and the Toyota Starlet score lower on my list in nearly every aspect, odly enough however i easily prefer the 1996 Starlet over the 2011 Citroën C1 (while the starlet has 220.000 km on the counter and the C1 has about 10.000) The C1 is just so light, the engine has no power at all, it's to loud as well and its just a pain to drive on the highway if it's windy, its truly a city car. The Starlet is surprisingly decent, had it for over 2 years and never had a problem with it yet, it always starts on the first try whether it's 30 degrees C or -20C and runs just fine. It is ofcourse not even close to either the BMW or the Renault in driving comfort.
I'm surprised though, you said you've driven both a Volkswagen Golf and a Volkswagen Rabbit, i thought that in US and Canada they simply called the 'Golf' models "Rabbit". Was the Golf R32 imported?

To be honest, I don't even know what the difference between hatchback / sportback is, or what "hatch back" even means.
Not really a car genius, I just know that this car is good-looking (personal opinion) and that it's extremely comfortable

Well the thing is that the R32 is a limited model and I guess we made an exception, and kept the traditional "Golf R32" as for the rabbit, between 2006 and 2009 it was the "luxurious" model, and there was a "Golf City" which was more basic and cheaper. The golf made its appearance again in 2010, and so far there has not been a single sign that VW is going to bring back the Rabbit. I guess it was for a limited time only. We had golfs up until 2005 with the Mk4 Model, then the Mk5 was renamed Rabbit yet in other countries the same model was kept as Golf... We like to be different I guess
EDIT: Sportsback and Hatchback is basically the same (I think?) Just means you don't have a boot in the back, again (I think)

There is a boot in the back. If by "boot" we mean the same thing, lol.

Jaguar S-Type. It was so responsive, crazy acceleration and you don't feel the bumps on the road at all. It was classy and yet pimp. Wood style finish dash and cream leather interior. It was like night a day compared to every other vehicle I've driven. Of course I didn't own it.. I had a summer job at a car rental company and my job was to move vehicles between all the rental outlets within and outside the city. Back then I had driven every car, SUV (Lincoln Navigator was nice), and truck that Ford and GM made.....fun times..

Hatchback basically means that the trunk hinges at the top of the car (so the rear window opens together with the trunk).
That's also the reason that they call that rear hinging piece a door, because it's all part of the body and not a seperate compartment. So that's why there's 5door hatchbacks and 4door saloons.
And idk really what the difference is between hatchbacks and sportbacks.. From a design point of view it seems that these sportbacks have a less straight line in the rear..

Yeah, thanks. Got it now.
And yes, Majorharper, it's a hatchback then. Anyway, I think you asked why anyone would buy a hatchback instead of 4 door saloon. As it was my parents who bought the car, I can't know for sure. But I think they like it because it allows for more high in the trunk

My uncle let me drive his for about a mile. Smooth driving (hardly noticed any bumps in the road). Acceleration and handling was top-notch, as expected of RR. Overall it was an outstanding experience.

I'm slightly biased since it was my dream car and I've been working on it for the last few years, but out of all the cars I have ever driven the Supra is still my favourite. Switched to a single turbo conversion when I got off duty a few years ago and haven't looked back since. Whilst many cars are "easier" to drive, nothing quite beats the thrill of that turbo kicking in and all hell breaking loose at the rear end. The car demands a certain respect when driving otherwise it will leave you spun out or in an accident and I love the feeling of being on the edge.
The car as I tore it to pieces and rebuilt it from scratch and switched from a N/A block to a TT block with a single turbo.
The finished product
