http://www.google.ca/imgres?q=puma+dres ... I4DEK0DMEoI need to go work-training at this pedorthist office for this new job and my boss told me no running shoes allowed. So, you think I could wear this pair of shoes?

They always looked like running shoes to me, and depending on how your going to dress ( slacks + button down ) than i'd wear dress shoes if your boss is that picky.

Please don't wear pants with cargo pockets... and a casual long sleeve would be best... roll the sleeves as the day progresses if you get hot.
I'd go with a nicer looking shoe btw.

If your boss doesn't want you wearing "running shoes" then I think it's clear that he wants you to dress smart-casual without a blazer. Those shoes are really casual, the definition of running shoe doesn't really matter. These shoes just don't fit the implied dress-code.

If I told someone no running shoes and they showed up with that, I would send them home and question their judgment and ability to follow simple directions.
In fact, if you didn't know this I would have qualified you as mentally retarded. Is this more about telling us you have a new job or that you have new shoes? I sincerely hope so.
Btw, casual in a professional role means slacks and dress shirt or polo. Business attire is a suit, formal is a tuxedo.

The shoes doesn't seem like running shoes at all to me.
This is what running shoes look like:

Where I live those are quite common casual shoes. Plus, everyone who answered running shoes must have yet to go out running.

These black on black could come off as a pair of black leather shoes, but I wouldn't risk it. Everyone used to wear these at school like 5 years ago.
