was walking home today (Hounslow > Southall...i enjoy walking) and almost slipped on some unmelted ice several times until i finally got home and tripped up walking into my front garden , no step, no stone....just normal flat path.
Ripped a massive hole in my jeans and cut my knee right up rather badly, when i feel i landed on my thumb and my hand kind of twisted. Hurt like hell...didnt think much of it until someone lightly touched my hand and i started to almost cry in pain :lol:
Went to hospital and they confirmed what i thought...i factured my hand....my bloody right hand (right handed ), they put it in a light cast with them having to put it in a full one tomorrow....also took about 15 minuets to write this message and i have to use my pinky to click the mouse

I guess you won't be 2012's gamer of the year anymore lol. Just keep the thing immobilized and make sure you don't do anything to make your hand swell inside the cast - it won't be pretty

Happened to me once, in my house 5 year-ish ago. Just like in a cartoon LOL The housekeeper was cleaning the floor of the living room, and I was in my room watching some action anime... then I was thirsty or something like that, and I was so hyper about what I watched... I ran to the kitchen so fast (which is past the living room) and fack, the floor was so slippery that I slipped some meters to fly about 1 second in the air and finally fall on my right arm xD Didn't broke anything, it was just wristed
Anywho, take good care of it. Especially since you are a gamer.

I have broken right shoulder/right wrist..taught myself to write with my left hand even thought myself to tight very fast and play fifa on PC (using mouse)
Want to be ambidextrous? break your dominant hand xD

Anyway, I feel for you. Fractured my elbow last year and I might have fractured my foot/ankle yesterday (hoping not ).

They didnt give me a cast, just a stronger more thicker bandgae/wrist support thing.

An abnormality that happens to the wrists. This became noticed as a disease if you keep typing on the keyboard for a long time on a certain position, without stretching it. This became a sickness mostly of programmers....... and hard core gamers.
