Corpse Sits Among Oblivious Video Gamers For Nine Hours In Taiwan Internet Cafe
NEW TAIPEI, Taiwan - A Taiwanese man who died while playing video games at an internet cafe appeared to have gone unnoticed by fellow gamers for up to nine hours, police said Friday.
The 23-year-old checked in at the cafe in New Taipei city on Tuesday night and was found dead but still sitting rigidly on a chair with his hands stretched out the following night by a waitress, police said.
You can just enter internet cafe's and get to work. They'll keep the time for you and when you get off you pay up.
I once entered an internet cafe and paid for one hour, but they forgot to register it. After 3 hours I got up and asked if my hour wasn't over already and they were like 'yeah you've been here for 3 hours'. After the misunderstanding was cleared I only got to pay for 1 hour

Heard a similar story a few years ago about another guy in Korea that died in a internet gaming cafe. In his case he had a strong addiction and wasn't taking care of himself. Spent 18+ hours gaming at the cafe and ate vending machine junk food consistently.

Judging from the descriptions of his body placement, he died without pain or misery. He died doing something he enjoys; chances are it was his favourite hobby in general. To die whilst utterly content, in another realm, transcending the pain and sorrow that this world brings and being blissfully unaware of what's to come next. To me that sounds like the kind of way I want to go.
