Hi, I was just wondering if there is a way to maximize data transfere while tethering. I use "Mobile AP" and connect with my laptop wirelessly. Thing is, I was wondering if there is a way I can temporarily prevent my phone from connecting to the internet itself, leaving more connection-space for my laptop.
I was thinking something like flight-mode, my thinking being that maybe it prevents unnecessary internet-usage.
Sorry if it's hard to read, english is not my mother tongue!
Edit: Oh and I use Android

Most phones got an option where you it stops the phone from connecting to wireless networks, Try going to settings -> connection (or something like that).
So in the first week in college i went with jeans and the pajama's shirt. Didn't notice what i was wearing till after i returned home.
