I been meaning to create a thread for this for a while since I always have good chuckle sessions browsing these, so here we are.

You borrowed $50 + $50
You spend $97
You have $3
$97 + $3 = $100
You give away $2 of your $3
You spend $97
You have $1
You gave away $2
$97 + $1 + $2 = $100
You don't add the money you owe to the totals to get $100, you add the money you spent. For example, prior to giving the $2 back, you had $3 and you owe $50 + $50. The total there is $103, where is the missing negative $3 you ask?!
