Morning SRF,
Anyone else, seeing the Lunar Eclipse going on? I had no idea it was going on, and had to get up early for an exam. So there i saw it, really awesome

wait so what happens when there is a lunar eclipse? the moon doesnt show anymore? what goes infront of it then?

If serious, before we get into lunar eclipse, I must tell you that the earth is a sphere (3D circle) and it rotates around the sun.

ahh so in a solar eclipse its the moon blocking the sun, in a lunar its the earth blocking and the moon..o_O

In a lunar it's the earth that blocks the light from the sun.

Woah, was something special supposed to happen 2 days ago, i never noticed ._.
Well, i always liked stars and galaxies related ... Stuff.
I remember seeing a solar eclipse 3-4 years ago but never saw a lonar one.
