My friends dad found a pack of rolling paper while going through his stuff (wtf?!) and then his parents called my parents and told them that we've been smoking weed... So now my mom and dad have ordered some urine samples that they're gonna make me take once in a while... I don't know who to talk to so now I'm turning towards you, I feel like shit - anybody know how to cheer me up?

You could always try to explain to your parents that rolling papers aren't always used to smoke weed. When I was low on cash, I used to roll my own cigarettes due to the price difference.

I did not smoke regularly, but it was less than monthly...

And last time i smoked was last wednesday but before that it was like 1,5 months ago if not more.

@inky Not if I'm still on samples... But I've decided that I won't give them any samples, they overreacted. And if they got a problem with that I'm gonna move in with my mate for a while (he's got his own apartment so no biggy).

@Isis The stuff that makes you high in weed is called THC, and it's traceable long after you smoked, in some cases you can still detect it after 30 days. So you're idea won't work.

And for the record, I'm not addicted to it, I do it for fun. Stop smoking isn't the problem, it's the parents problem.

Lol just give them the sample. If it's positive, brush it off as just trying it out twice. It doesn't sound too suspicious since it's quite a common occurrence and they'll eventually forget about it. Moving in with your mate is kind of drastic IMO but it's your life.

I'm kinda past that, since they know I've been smoking for about 6 months. And I don't think my mate would have anything against me moving in...

Don't forget to have your friend check with his landlord if they require him to add you as a tenant (sometimes it's required that they know for insurance reasons). If that's the case, you may need to get your parents to sign a form for you since you're not an adult and can't enter legally binding contracts. (Something about kids having bad judgment or not being responsible, or something?)

THC won't stay in your system for 30 days if you only smoke once a month or less. You can get it out in two weeks if you are active and drink a lot of water.
