Ray William Johnson banned from Youtube (added poll)

Yep, it's true.
The guy with over 5 million subscribers and 1,462,424,575 views got banned from Youtube.
Just take a look:
http://www.youtube.com/user/RayWilliamJ ... end=1&ob=4Of course we cannot know for sure if this was just some mistake from Youtube's end. However, it does make sense. I mean, after all, he used other peoples videos in his own videos. Now, I loved his humor, really. But truth be told, I doubt he had the authority to use all those videos.
Anyway, what do you think?

Too bad, it sucks he was hilarious, and I loved watching his show religiously every tuesday and friday... Too bad for him though, he was extremely popular, and he was promoting the videos he showcased making them even more viral, so I dont know why they banned him to be honest, he was just doing comedy thats it...

But well, I found this as a reply to why he got banned: "It wasn't his most recent video, it was the one before that. There is a copyright claim on it by "Barbara Roettger" (Surfer almost swallowed by Whale)"

Alright, so. His channel seems not to be banned after all.
At least you can still watch his videos, just not from his channel page.

Well, only two tube has been removed
This video has been removed as a violation of YouTube's policy against spam, scams, and commercially deceptive content.

sixpackshortcuts was banned from one of youtube;s bot pickup thing for spam but he was able to contact them and after a few days it was back up again.
I dont think they would ban him this fast because he has been doing it forever

His jokes are meh. He just brings up funny videos. Kind of like a video reddit.

We all have different opinions, but the point still stands: The top most subscribed guy on youtube got banned. You like him or not, that is quite big internet news.
And yes, he's already un-hanned again.

That is exactly what he is... He is getting paid to post a link for other peoples videos... I would be mad if this guy made more money from something that I spent time doing and all the comments said " Brought here by RWJ...."

Well, that is surprising. The amount of RWJ haters on SRF, that is.
Somewhat odd, but certainly an interesting observation.
It is true, yeah, that he posts videos from other people - just like a video reddit. However, the whole idea of his channel is not the videos being posted, it's the jokes he makes about them.
I've come to the conclusion that most people hate him for posting others videos, not for his humor. Is that correct?

In my case, I just don't find him/his jokes funny. I feel awkward when I watch him and it seems like he tries too hard.
I couldn't care less about the fact he uses other peoples videos.

I found him quite funny when I started watching him a while back ago but I outgrew him rather quickly. On another note I still like watching defranco and been doing so for years (?) now, although not scheduled.
