I'm not looking for anything particular, but i'll be checking some things out tommorow. Looks like TVs and electronics will be big as always, with all the other people camping out lol. This year there was sales the whole week aswell.

NCIX just released a buttload of deals, i have people camped outside our BestBuy here in Kelowna, it's the grand opening on Black Friday, so they are doing Macbooks for around 50% off.

Wish we had something like this in Denmark. Sounds like there are some pretty good discounts in the US (and maybe other countries - don't know).

Was that a Dynex or some other brand? I saw that in the ad.

FFS, there were people camped out yesterday MORNING and the line at one of the Best Buys was down the block. The parking lot was so full of cars people started parking on the road.

no, it was a sharp... the dynex one was like 32 inch for 80 bucks which is still a preety sweet deal.
i camped out since noon yesterday, i was about number 15 or something, the guy in 1st was camped out since wednesday night.

Black Friday is such a crazy day. That's for Sure!

Black Friday is one of the stupidest things to ever happen in America. It's like, "OMQ DEALS ARE SO GOOD LETS GO WASTE HOURS UPON HOURS BUYING SWEET STUFF AND SAVE TONS OF MONEY!!!11ONEONE".

When, in actuality, the deals aren't that amazing. And most people end up buying shit that they normally wouldn't. So, contrary to popular belief, you're not actually saving money, you're losing it.

Depends on what deal is 'amazing.' Standing in line for a couple of hours to get a TV a couple hundred off is a big deal when you're getting paid minimum wage. Also you're a fool to wait in line instead of sitting at the computer in the comfort of your home and ordering online. Most deals are available online. I've gotten most of everything I wanted. Too bad I missed out on Uncharted 3 for $30 from Bestbuy. Woke up yesterday and it was sold out online. Only thing that makes me sad. I didn't care to go stand in front of bestbuy for it.

I like to buy online, but sometimes stores charge insane shipping prices, that can basically offset a discount unless you are buying alot from the store.

A lot of stores offer free shipping over X amount spent during the Holidays though. Unless you're buying something big like a TV then it's different depending on where you bought it from.
