Not sure if I should post under artist section or OTL. Just bought a print from the store for $6 (+1 random bonus until Nov. 25). I love the style and the fact that it's dirt cheap to get one.
Got my new nook case from Etsy but so far no HMC print yet.
I have tons of books that I don't need any more (well, maybe about 60 lbs. worth); the textbooks would be horrible for this type of print but I have an extra outdated copy of Taber's Medical Dictionary and a few dictionaries. I might try to make my own small prints with my regular HP printer on my days off.

Thanks for the share, great looking silly hangings. I've been looking for a tiny gift for a friend living in the U.S., one of these might be super or I just send a request to make a Titanic related one for him. By the way, does price include the frame?
You can take a $2000 piece and make it seem like it you got it for $5 from a garage sale or Walmart if you don't know how to present the work.
It's all about presentation. If you take the piece alone and pin it on the wall, then yes, it would look like crap. You just need to find the right frame for the right spot and present it the right way and no one would ever think you got it for $6 or printed it yourself. I can think of several ways to make it look amazing just by browsing through a few cheap frames and additional pieces (an extra print, a $3 bamboo plant, etc). I don't just see the piece by itself; I always think of what I can add to make it better or let people see it the way I do and that's the difference in the way we see things.
