So until Firefox gets it shit together I'm going to be using Chrome.
So experienced Chrome users what should I know and what extensions should I be using?
Also is there a way to get the bookmarks like Firefox (And every other browser - on the side), not that damn toolbar.
Is there anything like HTTPS Everywhere for Chrome?
Chrome sucks with customization.

Google Dictionary. Double click any word to get a definition on screen. Very useful.
To be honest most of the great extensions are listed on the main page or not far away from it

I use the Turn Off the Lights extension. While watching videos, this ext. dims the background.
