recently came to denmark, I'm enjoy it everyday with all songs ever made until now.
Yeah pretty good program, just dont like the recent partnership with facebook, so annoying to see what everyone is listening to in Spotify. I dont give a shit, I dont wanna give a shit. To bad it's nothing you can disable.

Been using it for more than a year already. Pretty good and even better if you can afford to buy premium account.

If you use premium, you can use it in offline mode(you can listen to your playlists even if you arent connected to internet and you save harddrive space since most of the music exist on Spotify, so you dont need to download it. The downside is that it is mostly music from more famous and more known artists, so if you wanna listen to some local bands music, it's highely likely they wont be available at Spotify.
How ever I do believe less known bands can send their music to spotify, but they wont get any money from it.

You can access it without using hard drive space or an internet connection? What?

With premiumm you can also use Spotify on your smartphone. It's pretty amazing since you dont have go through the trouble to actually download all the music files on your computer and the transfer them to you your phone.
Premium is also very reasonably priced. It's 9,90€ per month I think.

I'd suggest Grooveshark over spotify as long as you don't mind songs with the wrong metadata and multiple copies of songs. I used both and I really didn't find spotify to be anything special. Plus you can upload your music.

Yeah, but then again. The offline feature is extremely useful. At lest I find it useful whenever you're not near a WIFI or have no 3G connection. Did you use the premium version? I must admit that I have pretty much fallen in love with Spotify, even though I've previously used Grooveshark. I guess it's a matter of opinion.
Anyway, Apy, you're from Denmark? :o

The premium account. So I can only listen to music offline if its in my playlist? But it doesn't save on my computer as a mp3?

Well, it has to be somewhere on the computer. But why would you want it as MP3?

To transfer it to my iPod

You can buy the mp3s from Spotify. In theory Spotify downloads all the tracks to your device but you need the software to listen to those tracks.
The whole business idea is that you don't have wait ages for illegal music downloads and then transfering them to your devices.
I don't understand how you don't get the point of the premium.
I should add that premium includes several other features such as unlimited listening time, add free usage of the Spotify and the possibility to use Spotify on smartphones and other devices.

Yes but the thing is, if I am going to pay $10 a month and $120 a year and not own the music, that just seems worthless to me. And my iPod is the classic, not the touch so I can't use the app.
I mean the $5 a month seems worth it, for unlimited streaming, but premium doesn't seems hardly worth it at all.
