I only saw the footage, and did not hear that it was about converting people to vegetarians. I did not make the thread to tell you to go veggie, I made it to show the dirty side of meat-production. My intensions were to share the film, not convert. If anything maybe tell people to buy ecological meat.

Yes, that's the way to address all emotional issues like that, fight fire with fire. Except I have a gun and you brought a knife.
And yes, this video is disturbing but it does show only bad things. However for the most part how the heck do you think meat is processed?
Bulls have their testicles tied up until they drop off on farms.
Horses are snipped too same way.

This movie is for puss.ies... jokes aside this movie was somewhat disturbing, but the end ruined it.. all that to try to persuade people to become VEGAN??? so wait wait wait wait, your telling us to basically ruin our nutrition for poor little animals? ya no thanks, I wont ever even THINK of becoming a vegetarian, and even worse vegan.

You're calling me a hypocrite? These people torture animals, all I wanna do is teach him a lesson that will stick with him for the rest of his life. I'm pretty sure that he won't forget that he only has one arm. And I'd like to see him tell people why.

no wonder why my meat tastes so good Ive killed several animals, and its kinda fun, i have to say the hardest one is the pig. I remember when i was a kid and I visited my grandmas house me and my friends would go work at an egg ranch collecting eggs and fckin with the hens, part of the job was also killing the ones who didnt make anymore eggs by stretching their neck and twisting it, I have to say it was the funnest part of the job The carnitas and chicharrones we had from the pig were even more delicious than normal for some reason.

So your saying you don't eat any kind of meat, don't eat eggs, don't drink milk, and see anyone who does so as a "beyond sick" person? To me it isn't sick, it's but a necessary process to gather food for billions of people.

Oh, so now it's only one arm? ...and to be honest, I'd like to see you trying to do so What would you do if there was nobody to fetch meat/milk (among others) for you? Do think twice before going and cutting off the limbs of people who not only provide food for you, but for your beloved ones as well.

gotta love vegans i love making them look like idiots when women talk about the whole animal killing yet they wear make up thats tested on animals. I once made a guy throw away a leather jacket after telling him it came from a calf I looked better with it anyways

The biggest problem I have with the concept of animal cruelty is the natural order of the world. Since the dawn of time creatures have been eating one another in the most gruesome of ways in order to survive. Raptors swarmed all over their pray and ripped it to bits with sharp claws and fang. Snake stalk their prey and wait for the right second to constrict their prey to death. Ant eaters eat a lot of fucking ants. All in all, animals are sacrificed to fuel the growth of a species.
I believe there’s nothing wrong with this cycle at all, it's a part of life. I won't stop eating meat out of moral outrage. I believe, though, that humane treatment for animals isn't a bad concept at all. I prefer to buy free range eggs & chickens over caged ones. Sure, they are still killed and what not, but at least their quality of life is a bit higher. As a society I believe it would be nice to encourage these sorts of practises to make the life of my tasty meals just a little bit better.

Actually I think ted is onto something too, if you don't want to stop eating meat. Although I think a vegan lifestyle could be doable too.

I don't understand some of these kids... They don't want people hunting for their food cause it's cruel and there is food in the grocery store... but they don't want people killing the animals to supply the grocery stores.. Or is it okay to kill the animal just as long as we're being nice to it first. <3?
