Detroit is losing it's grip because it's major industries, automobiles, is falling apart for them due to the fact of shitty "American" cars and the poor economy. Sadly as a nation we're losing our industrialism and becoming weak.
The picture though I'm not thrilled with either, they seem just like regular pictures anyone can take, BUT the buildings are fascinating and I'd like to know the stories behind them.

kinda reminds me of fallout 3 without all the light filters XD
Especially those neighbourhood houses, they look like the ones in the fireant area.

Woah, that is some creepy stuff.
I'm actually quite surprised that youths have not burnt those buildings to the ground, over here if a build is empty for more than a month it will be burnt by idiots on the weekend.
