This is a surveillance photo of a New Mexico State Trooper caught strip-searching a random woman with his penis on the hood of a car. What's even more funny? There's a prairie dog sitting there watching.
Who is the man in the photo? Is he really a state police officer? Was the driver trying to get out of a ticket? Why, as Mediate rightly wonders, is there a desert mammal watching?

I call Hoax on the picture. The license plates are just coincidently hidden, his face, penis and any other identifiable feature is blocked off from view. If it was a video, than why give us a still shot? Also, where exactly is the camera hooked to? Judging by the landscape it seems like it's in the middle of a open grassy area, the photo looks like it's too close to be hanging from the top of a pole or from the roof of a building. It just seems a bit suss to me and it looks like a bad attempt at drawing some web attention to a news website.

State Police investigates officer caught on surveillance camera

KOB Eyewitness News 4 has uncovered more information in our investigation of a State Police officer caught having sex on the hood of a car in full uniform.

State Police have been conducting their own investigation into the officer and stated the internal affairs investigation is complete.

Sources tell KOB that the officer in the photos has not been working on patrol for weeks.

Lawyers in Santa Fe said over the last few weeks, the officer has not shown up to numerous cases in which he had been the arresting officer and those cases are being dismissed.

This officer is the same arresting officer in the high profile Daniel Martinez escape and rape case.

The officer arrested Martinez who then escaped from his custody when the officer was not looking.

According to police, Martinez raped a woman before being recaptured. The district attorney said they will proceed with the case regardless of what happens to the state police officer.

The surveillance camera that caught the couple was set up to catch vandals at a remote ranch owned by Santa Fe County.

The Santa Fe sheriff Robert Garcia says he will not be pressing criminal charges because the incident occurred "in the middle of nowhere."

State Police released a statement Tuesday.

"The internal affairs investigation is complete, now we are awaiting a final decision on any disciplinary action that could be taken."

The officer was awarded police officer of the year in the past and had previously served on former governor Bill Richardson's security detail.

This officer sounds like a real creep!
