http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Eid_ul-FitrHappy Aidilfitri to all Muslim. Aidilfitri mark the end of the fasting month. I will be driving back home to my parents in law for the celebration. It'll take me 7 hours drive to get there. That's the estimated time when the traffic is at its normal state. But since this is the biggest holiday in Malaysia, it'll take me 10 hours or more. I'm gonna drive at 3am to avoid the traffic (I hope). Good luck to me. :p
To others, hope Aidilfitri will bring happiness and joy. Assalamualaikum
Selamat Hari Raya Aidilfitri dan Maaf Zahir Batin.
(Happy Aidilfitri and forgive my physical and emotional (wrongdoings))

Last day in Ramadan will be either 29 or 30 August.
I miss having breakfast, also we make some holiday cakes as a tradition, well, not just some, LOTS OF.

Plus younger family members gets money from all older members, as a tradition too.
Can't wait.

Happy Aidilfitri.
I thought Eid was the end of ramadan? Or is that a totally unrelated holiday.

@MK; except the part where the OP is totally not asking for your useless opinion. I think its sad that there are people that are so obsessed about religion (while not believing in it) and want to discuss so much that they keep butting into celebratory threads

Are you afraid that they are right and God really exists?
Seriously, grow up

Don't know if sarcasm or not.

Not sarcasm, everything I wrote stands.
@MasterKojito - Are you talking to me? Sorry I don't see the post in wich you are stating your opinion on the matter in subject.
MasterKojito wrote:Lempi, you are looking for trouble.. Though I agree with you, so I guess I am just as bad.

Yes it comes directly after Ramadan .
MasterKojito wrote:I'm just stating my opinion, which I thought was the point of a forum.
That isn't really the point of this topic and as EX said : "We're simply celebrating a holiday here, no need to bring out the usual religion drama."

That's like Farking posting an April fools day thread on March 28, or a Christmas day thread on December 22, you just don't do it!!!!

Click on thread to say something that was on my mind. Read through thread see a bunch of kids not accepting another's belief. Forget what I was going to type other than "it's not yet." Oh well.

Too bad children cannot accept that.

Why must you click a thread that does not relate to you? I just don't see the point.

No one knows....that's the current truth. In any event though feel free to celebrate and believe whatever you want until the real truth is revealed.

If I'm reading you right then you should know I'm not religious or an atheist. I'm simply in the dark like everyone else.

Come on guys...
Back to the topic, the journey took us 12 hours. Driving for around 10 hours and the other 2 hours was for resting. Yeah, it's kinda tired but everyone in the city are going back to their hometown for this. So, it's kinda fun.
This year will be the first time I celebrate Aidilfitri as a family of my own. FYI, I got married last year and on the 5th of this month I became a father. So, this year is special for me, my wife and my daughter.
How's ur celebration this year? No, I'm not asking about ur religion, and what do u think about Islam. Please stick to the topic, and stop trolling. I respect ur opinion, but i dont need it here in this thread. All i'm begging is ur respect. Thanks in advance.

^ Read that again. Done? Good. That's what he posted and you're turning this into a religious thread? He didn't post his cancer was cured by the power of christ, or a scheme to get 72 virgins faster from heaven down to earth by building a space elevator, in fact it's one of the most nonreligious posts I've read here.
It'd be like if I made a Merry Christmas 2011 thread that wished everyone a merry christmas and nice presents and you posted "Christ never existed and even if he did the holy trinity is not real and he wasn't god because god doesn't exist". Doesn't matter if it 's your opinion, you're a Farking idiot and douchebag of indescribable proportions and I hope my foot doesn't get stuck in your ass when I kick you out of here. If a thread is about a bungee jumper thanking god for saving his life when the chord snapped, go wild; not here.
This post is your warning, any idiots from here on out gets auto banned.

First of all Taskid, I asked him a question and
not you.
The man stated this year is special to him because he got a wife and a daughter (congratulations to him on that, thats awesome), he didn't say specifically in that post who drove with him.
Bottom line, Im interested in what he will reply, not some random guy like you.

Actually, my brother in law accompany me on the journey. My wife and my daughter are already there. Yeah, 10 hours of driving did took a lot of effort. Especially when it starts at 3am and at 6am we're already fasting. No food and drinks. Some might think it's hard but when u're in the celebration mood and the thoughts of celebrating it with my own family for the first time, did give me the strength that i need.
Hope u guys are having as much fun as I am. All of the family get together, kids are everywhere. The downside about this (joking) is I have to prepare plenty of money to give to my nieces etc. And kids these days will give u the look when u didnt give them enough. Lol..
Btw, thanks to mod and others who keep on topic. U guys are great. This is why I still visit this forum everyday even though I didnt play sro anymore.
To Mirosuke : Thanks, hope u'll have a daughter too some day. Cuteness overload!
