Mumford & Sons

I just found this band the other day, and I'm like super addicted to them. They play a lot of instruments and make great music. No drums (although their recent work does have a drummer) but marcus (lead singer) actually has a bass which he plays whilst playing guitar/singing.

They are 3-4 years old and played 2 years at Bonnaroo (Manchester, TN, one of the biggest music events in the world) now, and the 2nd year (this year) they had a stage with like double the audience. They are growing so fast it's rediculous.

It's Folk Rock/Country, and I pretty much like all of their songs which is quite rare.

These are some of their live performances, what a great band!

Also Ron Jeremy is railing them, right next to the stage you can see him a few times.

This one below is their first song on the set, first song! and they sing flawless in synch..

Unfortunately they didn't upload my fav song by them which they did play at Bonnaroo, but here's the official music video of Little Lion Man.

If people are interested I can post the entire performance minus a few songs of their set at Bonnaroo, someone uploaded the 46 min video.

I'm curious to see if anyone will like this music at all, I'm personally in it for the atmosphere you get at these events, everyone is just having a good time, and when the singer shouts CMON THEN BONNAROOOO, everyone goes insane and starts jumping :D

My younger brother is a big fan of them and has been to one or two concerts already here in the Netherlands. I have yet to see them live but their music is good. Not really into that style but it's still good to listen to :]

Saw their album on the UK Official Top 40 Charts, never heard of them before so downloaded it to give it a try. They're pretty good.

I'm surprised to see so many of you that actually like them.

I'm not really into this music by default either, but these guys are great!

Will be going to see them live soon with my cousin. He's a big dropkick murphy's fan so shouldn't be a problem :p

Somewhere between hillbilly (and hillbilly-wannabe hipster) folk rock and a heavy metal band for hobbits.

Not my thing but given how rare the style is to me and how decent they execute I would describe them as good.

Haha I first got heavily addicted to Little Lion Man, but then I found The Cave and it kinda switched :P I love it so much from 2:40... imagine how awesome that must feel being in that crowd, or on the stage when he goes "CMON THEN BONNAROOOO" and everyone starts going totally insane jumping :D

Everyone's just having a great time... that's what does it for me :D

Also, his voice is actually really good as well. Real nice raw edge to it when he goes high. 2:50 in Sigh No More, and 3:40 in Roll Away Your Stone, he goes high and you can hear the quality of his voice so much better :D
