lol on a serious note,
its a large ongoing discussion in the uk that more and more young girls are being influenced by pop culture/magazines/tv/commercials and the internet (yes even porn, im writing this because a study was done in a school about 20mins away from me that showed over 90% of pupils had already watched porn or took part in a sexual activity before the age of 11...)

what does srf think about children and even teenagers thinking that being a slut is cool?

Is the whole UK late or just you? This has been discussed since late 90's.

When ever I have kids later, especially a daughter, I'll make sure to raise them in a way they can judge right from wrong. But in the end I don't want to get on their ass too much or they will only whore them out more. I rather teach them to be safe (after a certain age ofcourse lol)

You see females brought up religiously/"morally right" whoring themselves out at clubs/parties. In the end, no matter what they are taught, they just do whatever feels good and justify it later.

Is it even useful to teach your children how to be safe? I think it's a pointless endeavor.

Also, reflecting on how humans are sexual in nature already, is promiscuous activity that bad to begin with? (Other than the risk of STDs, etc)

I'll teach my kids right and wrong, how to make good choices, etc. One thing I won't do is force them to act like how I want or dress like how I want. I will however let them know that I am here for them as their parent and they can trust to ask me anything they need.

It may be normal to have sex but how you react to it varies.

I like sex with people I care about. If I had sex with another woman, it would hurt the woman I care about. So no sex with anyone else, just one . Simple to me.

Basically humans were designed to have sex after puberty. If everyone wasn't ready for sex at a young age we wouldn't be here right now. Humans would of been extinct a long time ago.

In this day in age however Humans have a tendency to change everything in their favor. Is it normal to have sex at the age of 10? yes. Is it socially acceptable? no. Should they have sex at the age of 10? no there is no need to increase the population further. But however it is human nature to multiply.

Well, idk, but that's just disgusting. They are a bunch of kids and they try to have sex at age of 10. Their body is not ready to have those kind of relationships until 14-16. At my time when I was 10-14, I really liked to play outside with friends. I've been outside for about 8 hours a day, we all played all kind of games, climbing trees and so on. Now we can see, that this natural childhood period has really changed by technologies.(I didn't had a mobile and pc). And I didn't know what is "sex" until age 14. I remember that media wasn't that open at that time, so I really didn't get influenced by it. And now... We can see that all kids at the age 7-10 knows about it and even tries to do at alone. It's just not good for their own.

Hey, give it a rest people, each person has different types of experiences. You might have known what sex was, but did you have sex at 14? Probably not. I stayed a virgin till I was 19.

I was told what is sex in age 4. I remember a funny children book "So..? How do babies come?" My mom read me about it something. But you know I was a kid and didn't understand anything at all, but it was funny. And yeah, my mom didn't talk about sex until I was 14, because like I said my country wasn't that rotten as yours. The media was children friendly, no nude bodies, no stupid shows about sex, and anything like that. I think it was a good environment to be grown like this. It's my opinion. i know that our bodies are made to have sex in our teens but because of some vital issues about sex "underage pregnancy but mainly STD's" i think that kids should be removed from the media and pop videos that blatently provoke sex.

another example... when Rhianna was warned about themes that could influence children in her video to the song "Man down" she replied saying that it was important for young women to think about their actions and that it (rape) could happen to anyone of us (referring to young women)

When I went back to china everyone was wearing colored white dress shirts + plaid mini skirts + knee high socks + red ties + hair bands. There are times wearing more is more appealing than wearing less.

If kids want to have sex they will have it no matter how hard you try. Instead of focusing on stopping them from participating in sexual activities at early age you're better off learning them about the consequences those activities will have if it's not done cautiously.

It will be several years before I will get my first child probably but I already wish I'd be able to keep her (assuming I get a daughter since on this subject girls =/= boys) away from sex untill atleast 15/16. But that is pretty much impossible, no matter how much I dislike that fact. So as curve said, I will teach them how to prevent pregnancies/STD's and everything else that could go wrong and make sure they know I'm there for them if they ever need advice or information.

Stop bitching at eachother about what age you are ready to have sex, even though I would agree that under 15 it's too young every guy and girl matures at their own speed. If they feel they are ready to make the plunge then by all means go for it, you as parent just have to make sure it happens safe.

All of this is ofcourse that the feelings are mutual and nothing is forced upon one another.

I for one don't exactly think that clothes always reflect the persons intentions (sexual in this case).
