So my birthday is coming up, and my parents want to know what to get me and Im completely clueless on what I want.
Anyone have cool nifty games/things/etc just in general that would be pretty cool to get and use over and over?
Just name anything that you really like thats like under 1000$

Well if it was me I'd buy some new BB guns.

Really depends on what sort of stuff you're into though. If you like animals I'd suggest buying a lion.

Sounds like you could save your parents a lot of money.

$1000 and don't need anything, goddamn first world problems
It's your going away present? I presume you're moving out? Obvious things to look at are things you'll need when you move out. Furniture (i.e. desk, bed, couch, chairs, tables), appliances, anything you use in your house atm you'd like to use when you move out etc.
You could also go for something memorable. A thousand bucks right now is in a way worth more than a thousand bucks when you already have a job etc. I got a substantial amount of money when I turned 18 and I went a year to Norway from it. In that way it bought me an entire year, whereas if I had saved it it probably wouldn't have had the value of an entire year of fun.
Memorable experiences are different for everyone. Is there anything you always wanted to do? Specific holiday destination? Sky diving?
I like to think that your money is expressed in the things you have done, not the things you can do.

I just couldn't think of anything lol.
But, my parents are gonna surprise me on what I get for my bday now. I brought up the idea of going to the zoo, Always loved those. + I brought up the essentials of living by myself.
Thanks for the help SRF
