I just spent six hours in the train to go some place to find out that I'm a week early. I feel retarded.

Going west -> east and back every weekend and that takes me bout 3 hours every time so yeah xD Tough luck mate, pay attention next time :3

Alright well my dad sent me an email telling me there's a last minute study information day at the university of Leiden, which would have more information to a study that they only just started (International Relations & Organizations). In the email he told me: "you have to be fast, it's tomorrow!".
I was like ohshit, quickly followed his link and checked out at what time my study would have its information and then took the train the following morning.
Turns out he got the date wrong, and I just didn't even check it since I have such a blind trust in my dad (it never even occured to me to check date). So yeah.. sucks

It was 6 hours because it's 3 hours one way, and I had to go back as well. If I say it out loud like 6 hours completely wasted in a stupid train it sounds awful, but it wasn't all bad. I had a decent mood today, knowing that I would finally go climbing with one of my friends, so I was chill and the 6 hours flew away with a book and some nice music. It doesn't change the fact that I feel really really stupid though. Who the **** shows up a week early, seriously.

I did something silly too actually this week. I needed some stuff from the tackle shop (fishing gear etc) and I thought about buying it all weekend but on Sat I couldn't, on sunday it's closed, and on monday, I thought "YES, GO". Nobody was bothered to drive me (about 15 miles there) so I decided to go healthy style and grab my bycicle. I Farking got there and realized it was a national holiday

Two weeks ago I went from Steenwijk to Rotterdam to Zoetermeer to Arnhem and the next day back to Zwolle.

And why?

Because I can.

And last wednesday I went to Amsterdam (2 hours one way) for a museum. I walked around for 10 minutes and I was done...

Every weekend it's the same for me. Friday I go from Zoetermeer to Winterswijk (through Gouda/Utrecht and Arnhem), sunday back in the opposite order. 5 hours total if I'm lucky.
