Logitech G15, not a new keyboard, but I am loving mine. It got those lights on they keys you want + a small, but nice and useful LCD screen. They are relative cheap now I think, I bought mine when they were new, gave something like 150 euro for it if I recall correctly.

http://www.logitech.com/en-us/keyboards ... vices/5902I am not sure if I should spend that much for a keyboard, but having back light is what I need atm.

I agree with HejsaN. Get a G15 and you won't regret it! I'm simply loving mine

But yeah, that G510 looks pretty sweet as well!

Yeah, Logitech G15 is nice but the orange backlight gives me the old-ish feeling lol
Thanks for the suggestion tho.
Logitech Gaming Keyboard G110 - I like this one, but I heard the keys are like too thick. Like the old fashioned Dell's keyboards. I am too used to laptop/slim designs. Also heard that the backlight isn't that great... 54$ @ Amazon.
Logitech Wireless Illuminated Keyboard K800 - So far this is the prettiest, fancy, elegant, slim, with bright backlight without 'combination locking keys' keyboard I ever step upon with. I can get 12$ off from Amazon and ships in 5-9 days for free. (is this for real?)
Btw, did anyone bought something at Amazon? This could possibly be my first item bought over the internet.

there are a few things i dont like with mine though...
firstly i find it hard to clean (looking for help on that =) )
secondly the apps for the screen are sometimes... a bit sucky, i mean i just use SirReal most of the time, but when i wanna see vent, its a bit buggy when switching...
the gkeys are nice but quite often a bit out of the way, theyre not suitable for spamming macros like, on silkroad...
but theyre really useful for storing passwords to forums and stuff

if your scared of a keylogger.. this thing is ideal =D
oh and probably nothing to do with the keyboard and more to do with apples "if you dont buy our stuff then we dont support it" idea...
the media keys keep messing up when using itunes... (infact usually when itunes updates but, still anyone know why?)
oh and USB devices are USB1... that isnt really a problem for me though

yah I use the Logitech g510. It's not too expensive, feels good in hand, lots of macros, lcd of course, multi-color LEDs under keys, built-in audio, windows key disabler. It lacks USB and the keys could be brighter. Some other features as well but I listed the best ones

G510 fosho

Amazon is great.
Someone mentioned amazon shipping. I always get the free supersaver shipping. Despite what is shown for estimates, I always get the items the next day or the day after that.
Regarding gaming keyboards: I've has a bunch of gaming keyboards. I really liked my razer tarantula. I must say though, especially considering the price, I think the Sidewinder X6 is a really good choice.

My keyboard is like 3 years old, and I bought it for ~4$, no light on the keys, not even characters, all keys are similar, but it's very smooth, and that's all I need, keep this option in your mind.

I couldn't agree more. I'm using the OCZ alchemy elixir which is considered a gaming keyboard but it's not a fancy one at all. I have 5 macro buttons which I use for every day stuff, but this keyboard is already 3 years old and I still love it. Bought it for 30 euro or something close.
I'll always use cheap keyboards.

So is the mouse? I don't really need it for gamming at all. just a plus, what I really need is a backlight function so I can use it in the dark (and looks great)
