Rental car nightmare =(

I'm going on a 5 week Holiday to Orlando, FL and as I'm only 21 they charge me $25 a day extra so my travel agent sorted me out with a "deal" that would get me it slightly cheaper.
Today I got sent the information on the car I'll be driving.

FML!
I am embarrassed even looking at it never mind driving it for 5 weeks, kinda big change from a skyline to this... =/
Does anyone know if gas prices are high in Orlando?
I am thinking about spending the extra cash to rent the chevrolet camaro.

What would you do personally?

If you got the extra cash then go for the camaro. gas prices compared to the UK are cheaper, even though the Americans bitch about their "high" prices. Last time I went to Miami I also had the option of taking a cheaper rental car that looked shite, but I payed some more for a Mustang to see if it could compete with my Supra.

Honestly? I'd pick the yellow car. It's really cute looking and probably doesn't slurp as much gasoline as the other car.
Another, more irrelevant reason would be that if one parks like
this or
this, it's probably safer to pick the small yellow car instead of that big monstertruck wtf. Size matters.

See this holiday I'm aiming for the holiday of a lifetime, planning on proposing to my girlfriend and as this is her first time going to Florida I have really went all out on everything else.
Reason why I kinda want the chevrolet camaro is because I have never seen one of these in the UK before and to be honest I will probably never own one with the prices of petrol in the UK.
My GF and parents are like WTF don't waste money on it, it only gets you from A to B and it will be easier to park, but wouldn't you want to drive a car you'll never own or probably have the chance to drive again?

I say go for it. If you've got the cash why not fork out a bit more and get a nice car? Since you said you will be driving it for the next 5 weeks, id be going everywhere in that camaro lol.

Personally I'd be willing to spend a little extra. Not that I have anything against driving a Pikachu but definitely worth paying a little extra. Also, run over your agent. Just make sure you get insurance because a nicer car is more likely to get stolen.

If u want a headturner then rent a Bugatti Veyron Super Sport.

No seriusly take the Camaro, it would be so much fun to race around with that. Would be even more fun if u made a convertible of it and ask some money from them for the customisation.

wtf
It's like 1.55-1.70 euro a litre here.
2.22-2.43 dollar a litre
So times, about, 4 for a gallon makes it 8.88-9.78$ a gallon. I think lol
About the car, I would spend the extra money if I was you. Like you said, being able to drive a car you could never own would be awesome.

Uhm, you are going to rent it, doesn't matter as long it takes you to where you want? :0
Well, it's your money if you can afford it, just do it.

I'm just an average person so I probably pick the Yellow car, since I can't take risk. It's like your going to Orlando for a Drag Race.
But if you really have that much $ then go for the Camaro.

How much of a difference is between the two? That's the main question. If it's a huge difference then I'd say go with the ugly car, but considering you also plan to propose to her during the time.. tough. I'd say go with the Camaro.
Personally I'd say take the extra step and enjoy the vacation. Having a nice car can affect your vacation. Sure gets you to point A to B, but gets you to each location in style.
I drive a 94 grand am 2 door with a sunroof. I think it's a nice first car don't you think? Too bad my sunroof is broken and I'm lazy to fix it. It broke not too long after someone tried to break into it through the sunroof.. wat. Anyhow.. my cousin has a 2010 Charger and I'm very jelly. The looks, sounds, and everything you can think of. I like it whenever we go somewhere in it. Not that I'm embarrassed to drive my car, but it's just that it's just more enjoyable.

When I go on vacation I plan on spending as little time as possible inside a car. I'd rather spend my time outside, enjoying myself and having fun etc etc. Would I be willing to pay more money so I can be in a 'prettier' car for a few hours? Personally, no.
This is quite ironic as I'm going on a road trip tomorrow to Melbourne (10 hours driving each way), but eh.

I'll be staying in Gaylord Palms Hotel, Orlando. (funny name but it is a nice hotel)
It is only 50 degrees here so I am hoping I will have some sunshine and get a nice tan while I'm there.
Yeah some shopping places would be awesome, I usually just go to small outlets I see while driving around.

Hell yes, there will be nothing inside the car of mine and I have insurance so if it gets stole then I'll get a replacement car.
