Which phone should I get?

Oke soup SRF?
I'm getting a cellphone, and I'm currently stuck in between the HTC Incredible S and the Blackberry Bold 9780. Note that they'll both cost the exact same price. Please don't suggest another company, as I'm set with this company. Oh and please don't discuss how it's cheaper/more expansive where you live <3
What the plan comes with...
-------------------
My thoughts so far
-------------------
Blackberry Bold 9780.
~ It looks really cool, slick too.
~ Considering I'm in High School and a high % have BBM, that be a cool thing to have.
~ I prefer texting on a keyboard than a touchpad.
HTC Incredible S
~ Huge touch-screen + better camera.
~ Runs on Android, so I can get into the whole Apps. fiesta.
~ Internet browsing is superior.
~ Better specs overall than the Blackberry.
Consider this. I want a cellphone that would give me a nice socializing experience (facebook, texting, etc). Specs like core speed or whatever doesn't really bother me, but a good camera is always cool to have. Which phone should I get?

I'd just go with the HTC, because well, you kind of stated why i'd choose it.
With my experince of blackberrys, they are more business type, and with the HTC you can browse the web easier, along with the social networking stuff

Blackberry is ghey.
and by the looks of what you've posted I'd say HTC wins by a kilometer and 4 centimeters.
also:
Any phone is better than no phone.

Yeah but I'm wondering if the Internet Browsing is even going to matter with 100mb.

get the HTC incredible.
Unlimited data is by far better.
An hour on the internet can net you about 60.00 MB used up probably even more.
I've been on wifi, and i have net counter app, and i've used over 500 MB of data in 2 weeks of having my inspire.
But thats HSPA+/Wifi combined.
Wifi doesnt use your 100mb data usage. but its harder to find wifi.
+ Android is by far superior over blackberry, just by all it can do, and what it is in general makes it better.
Customization and socializing on the HTC is also superior. Not many people have BBM where im from, and you can chat w/ people online through android's facebook app.
+ The widget/customization/adding apps. to the phone is great. I have on 1 of my screens, all 3 angry birds app (Android feature i dont think blackberry has) and Words with friends which is agreat game as well.
SO
get android!

Hahaha, you're one hilarious cat.
My brother has a 250mb data plan and he never comes close to using the cap and he uses his phone for everything from email, facebook, and other nonsense he may use the internet for.
I have a 150-200mb data plan. Went on a trip to Manitoba last year and still never came close to the cap and I used my windows live messenger, frequented 4chan, facebook, and browsed srf so I think that also says something.
So for that I say Blackberry because the data plan is plenty and being able to do more than FB and Twitter like the HTC.

but, most websites make apps for android/iOS. and they have better apps so its funner :> for HTC

HTC all the way, makes great quality Phones, also, if you have big fingers, don't go with the blackberry.

I have larger fingers and use a Blackberry with no problems. Its people with larger fingers using a touch screen phone that get fat finger syndrome.

A 100 mb data limit does get used up fairly easely if you use your phone a lot.
I'm about halfway through my month and i used 51,4 mb data so far.. but i work about 47 hours a week and even the trains have wifi so xD
Besides that, i'dd go for the HTC just because i've only had negative experience with blackberry's. My sister gets the newest blackberry every year. So far her internet always is a lot slower than mine, she has a lot of apps that don't work for her, that do work for me (4square, banking). While she also misses out on a lot of apps because android simply supports more apps.
I own a HTC Desire Z myself and it's worked great so far. HTC hasn't let me down yet ^^
I've also noticed HTC comes with more widgets / possibilities than other android phones (for example, a colleague of mine has a samsung galaxy, she wanted a desktop pictogram for turning on/of wifi and G3 internet, it wasn't possible with her phone while i figured that was standard.)
HTC Sence is always nice aswell ofcource.

I personally have an iPhone 3GS still, which is the only Apple product I'll buy in my life. I have been thinking for a long time to pay off this plan so I can move on. Move on to the HTC Desire 2 or something like that. I have only heard good things about HTC, and my friends all have one. My cousin has a blackberry, and he says he likes it, but he is just avoiding texting etc because of the small buttons

I know that because he used to text his face off with his gf >_>
I'm gunning for a newer HTC when I decide what to do with this iPhone plan I have currently.
I've only heard good things about HTC. Their hardware is amazing too.
That free texting thing on blackberry's is going down the drain though, here in Holland at least. It's gonna cost soon. Or does already, no idea.

Virgin Mobile. Although most company here in Canada will have this rate. Good thing with the company I just stated is that it runs on a tab instead of a contract.
As for trying to get more data, this is really the only options that are offered to me at this price range. I didn't know wifi didn't use your data though
I'm obviously going towards the HTC but a lot of people in my school uses BBM. Then again, I don't really see how BBM is different than texting.

You're from Calgary, right? What's your carrier?

I'd go with HTC. Android phones are only getting better and better and the Incredible shows that.
You'll get used to the touch screen keyboard. Just turn the phone sideways for the bigger keyboard and it's just like a physical one.
Plus, you don't want to be one of those people. The ones with a Blackberry. Blackberry users have no souls.

Ah, okay. Technically, its only 50/mo but when you add the extra text messages, taxes, fees and so forth its closer 80. I've looked up other carriers and can find unlimited plans for 50 bucks but its the same story. Sucks for sure.

Yeah, for this 40$ plan I have the choice between Unlimited Texting or Call Display/Voicemail. At the end of the day it's still 40.
