Finishing College sucks -.-

I finished College 3rd of May and I actually miss having classes, I must sound insane but I don't start University until October so I will have been off for like 6 months.

All my friends work full time jobs or are in placements with University so during the weekdays I have nothing to do and to be honest this has been the longest month of my bloody life, there is only so much day time TV you can watch without watching the antiques roadshow or countdown.

I can't get a job as I leave for a 5 week Holiday to Florida in July so no one will take me on with that holiday coming up.

Is anyone else on the same boat as me, if so what are you doing to pass time? =/


It is actually that bad I have been doing all the housework and making dinner for my family, reading cook books on the meals I'm making...

Really not on the same boat at all... Finished college on the 10th of may, work 5 times a week from 4pm - 11pm monday to friday, I have pilot school, I go to the gym, and soon I will be starting summer school

I go to the GYM 4 times a week for 2 hour sessions but that is even boring as I just listen to my ipod, workout, shower, leave.

No conversations with anyone lol.

I did a Higher National Diploma (HND) in Computing as I was unsure on what I wanted to do in the IT industry and the HND basically covers everything, I decided that was a better route to take rather than going to Univeristy to study something I wasn't sure I would enjoy as basically what you study in University is what you will do for the rest of your life.

In the United Kingdom you leave Highschool with GCSE's or in some highschools you can go on to do A levels which I did, 3 A level's get you into University but also in HND in a College, the HND is better for people who don't know what field they want to study.

HND can get you into your 2nd year of University depending on your grades, but my pre-grades from feedback I will be getting A, B so that is enough to get into my 2nd year.

Ok, so it's kinda similar to Community/Junior College here in the states vs a full fledge University. 2 years gets you an Associate degree, 4 years gets you a Bachelors.

When I finished my college I had a 3 months vacation, didn't work at all during those 3 months. Just relaxed, did some sports and had as much fun as I could. I did have the luck that all my friends didn't work as well. They're just like me, too lazy to work during summer But I understand that it can be boring if you're only one that has free time while all your friends are working or something else.

I only have 1 more semester left, and I can't wait to finish college. I'm tired of all this 6 hours of hw everyday, Farking 5 straight days of all-nighters, doing tons of projects, etc, etc...

Yep. Leaving in about a month, can't really get a job right now FUUU
