Big crowds at concerts/festival

I am facinated by crowds at concerts. Especially rock concerts i must say...

I have seen a couple of bands live and this might sound stupid, but i love being in the middle of the crowd, sing as loud as i can and jump...

I love how the crowd participates to the concert. Not only singing but also jumping or moshing. It's so impressive to see ! :sohappy:

Any one sharing my fascination or am I alone? :soosad:

Here's some videos to show you what i mean...

Spoiler!

That is honestly one of the main reasons I go to raves. It's usually 40,000-50,000 people all there for the love of the music and drugs just dancing, having a good time.

I live in Southern California and I've met people from Florida, Canada, Pennsylvania, Oregon, and many other states at raves around here.

Some of the most memorable moments I've had were when a DJ would play a song and the entire crowd would sing along. About 30,000 people all singing together. Let me see if I can find some videos.

Nocturnal 2010. ATB opened with his song Ecstasy. Just listen when he cuts the music and the entire crowd is still singing along pretty much exactly how the song would go. I was in the middle of that singing as loud as I could. Every person within a foot of me was doing exactly the same thing.

hell yeah that's awesome !

One of my best memories is the Swedish house mafia, when they played "show me love" and cut the sound everyone kept singing

I saw Afrojack at Together As One on New Years. The whole crowd lit up when he dropped Take Over Control. Was epic.

Brochella definitely next year though.

One of my favourite songs by one of my favourite bands, these guys go off whenever they play. Though you can't see the crowd terribly well this crowd is brilliant, I'm jelly because lately at the shows I've been going to there's mosh children faggotry with flailing arms and kicking that dominate the pit.
Anyway I know most of anyone on this forum won't have patience for this music so the highlights (for me) are 1:30 onwards to 1:45, 2:25 "When we are dead" and then 3:00 "The first note that was ever sang". I mean at 3:55 FFFFFFUUUUU

This was a show I was at recently and this will be a lot easier for you to sit through, crowd sang every word of every song throughout the show.

I love We Came As Romans. Dreams is an absolutely amazing song.

I've seen Attack Attack, Dance Gavin Dance, and A Skylit Drive in my town. They were small shows and the mosh pit was just kids flailing.

Eyes Set to Kill is coming here soon. Sublime too.

In my town again, tommorow.

I like the atmosphere, i don't like the hardcore/hardstyle music etc.

I haven't heard Eyes Set To Kill, I'll have to check them out.
This year I've seen:
Spoiler!

2 nights ago I went to see the I Killed The Prom Queen reformation gig (with The Amity Affliction headlining :\ ), Deez Nuts and Of Mice And Men (Ex Attack! Attack! vocals, and that went the fuck off. Living in a main city of a country has it's advantages and I cringe to think of what I've MISSED so far this year.

Video of said show (yes sideways and difficult to watch)

When I'm in a big crowd I get the urge to push everyone around me away. I need my space, it sort of suffocates me when I'm packed in a group somewhere.

Going to Lowlands festival this weekend, looking forward to it :]
I'm not a huge fan of big crowds but I really like the way these crowds contribute to the atmosphere at a concert/festival. Definitely going to be part of it ^^
