Let go of your view of time, there is only day and night, and you won't need a watch. :)

Lol...Don't hate. Also, I need a watch for school/work. Some tasks at my job rely heavily on measuring rate and duration.

Also, thanks for the suggestion ring but I'll pass on G-Shocks. I've been using black/metal casual watches since grade school so I want something neat and different.

Someone let me know when the last time a watch got them layed or considered cool, last time I checked it was never... So really doesn't matter what the hell it looks like, but that it does what it is supposed to do and does it well.

True story:

Once I had a piece of dog shit on my watch... nobody even noticed... the whole day, was like man what's that smell... is it this hamburger? nope... oh well... later when I was licking the ketchup off my watch I realized the poop was on there... Nobody notices a damn watch anymore..

There's a difference between a watch and a shoe-box sized yellow brick tied to your wrist...

That said... I do like colorful straps so I was going to recommend:
Timex

OR:

Citizen

With an 18mm nato strap from ebay:

They come in less flashy colors if you like...

That huge yellow watch wont get you laid but it will definitely get you noticed in a wacky 3 inch thick glasses with a bow tie and pocket protector kinda way. Ohoeee! Ohoeee!

I think I can sport it lol. Sorry but I'm not buying a watch to get into someone's snatch (and I doubt that any sane person does). I'm buying it because I know it'll look pretty good on me and because I want one. Besides, it's not like I'm planning to wear it with a suit lol.

I'm buying it for me, not for anyone else :)

Thanks for the suggestions, keep them coming.

@Gaige: I work at the hospital for 3 days a week. I can't use my cellphone as a substitute for a water-resistant watch.

I already have professional looking watches lol. But thanks for the suggestion.

I'd lay off the passive assholeness if I were you. :)

Anyway, gnight. 8)

This. Although I think I got the concept of sleeping and night and up at day backwards.

very nice watch. I was looking for these types but it seems like not too many available in our area with similar designs as this. I got bored of professional looking watch nand they are kinda heavy. I need alternate watch for casual occasions.

inky wrote:Thinking of getting a new watch since all my current ones are either metal or black rubber/leather. I want something colorful (light blue, yellow, red, etc). It can be either analog, digital, or both. I want something with a thick strap and a semi large watch body; something similar to the one in the picture. Also, very important: needs to tell me the "seconds" so I can use it for my job. Any suggestions? If not, I'll probably end up just buying this one.

Thanks :D

(Also, trying not to spend too much on it so something below $150 would be great)

so Retro.

I have to agree. that sh!t is for kids. it's oke when you're 12 or something, but not now.

I got this Gucci one, though I never wear it. But I think it's better than the yellow one. Maybe you'll like it too. It's quite expensive though.

Hmmm ok. I'm still gonna get it unless I find a good alternative. I'm not gonna explain myself again :p

That Gucci watch looks sweet but it's a bit too pricey. And I want something different than the regular classy black ones.

Love it.

Take it.

Take 6 other colors with it for every day of the week. (I keep forgetting the days xD) I want that one, at least in white. Website where I could order it or something?

But those Nookas are also so well awesome. They have great sunglasses to boot.
