Just a movie that's coming out, check the Trailer

Personally i love the idea behind it, and i'm excited to see the movie, however i feel like its going to let me down... They are going to concentrate more on the "story" of the girl, and not your "Other You"

I feel like it's a very original idea, and wonder.. What would you do if you knew there was "Another You?"

Just wanted you guys to check it out, and the song is:

That Home - Cinematic Orchestra

I really don't like the idea behind it, personally. If they are taking on a literal application of the idea of "another me" than it seems a bit silly. If they've made different choices and lived a different life to me than they aren't me. The person I am is defined by my experiences and what I've done. And if there's a exact replica of me, in each and every way, why would I want to talk to him? I might as well talk to myself.

Now, with that aside, looking at the trailer it seems like it will be a film focusing on the idea of regrets and making amends for past wrongs. Sure, I could be very wrong, but I'll wager $20 that the planet is just a simple metaphor for the recreation of history. And if that's the case I don't think I'd like it, either. Without the experiences you've been through, even the ones that didn't go quite to plan, you wouldn't be the person you are now. We don't shape life, rather life shapes the people we are. Don't regret, rather learn from it and use that knowledge to pursue your future, here and now.

Bah, I think I'll pass on this one.

I really like the idea behind this! I can't wait to watch it, really. But yeah, such a concept requires a very well made film. So yeah, might let me down.

This movie is like somebody giving you a massive succulent AAA grade steak...only to tell you it was actually made out of tofu.

If you want to watch a proper film about another Earth, and another you, watch this:

><' No, doesn't look good at all.. They take a concept that you could do just about anything with, and they chose; what looks like, the most boring road...

@ MrT-ypestoomuch-williger If the people on the other world weren't exact copies of each other than there couldn't be replicas of the people at the present time, cuz just like you explained about the choices.
Also, I'm thinking its more about a metaphor, but I just don't understand the first part of the trailer though. But yeah... There's a second earth just floating a few thousand miles away and she's worried about Farking some ppl up with her car? WTF WTF? C'mon...

Sum it up... It needs Sauce.

It was a flash back. She killed the man's wife and child when she was driving drunk. She went to apologise to him and lied about why she was there. No idea how she ended up living with him though.
