Don't generalize all of us into the same group. Only people fascinated by this, are the idiots that read and believe tabloids.

The only reason anyone here, media included, actually cares about the royal wedding is because its one of those things that's actually kind of "fun" to cover/hear about. As opposed to all the wars, natural disasters, etc. It's a refreshing change for most people.

First off its a big thing as this could become our new king and queen, sure not everyone cares about it will cost us tax payers money ~20million but with this been a major event for tourism and merchandise it will help our economy, the royal family are essentially what makes britain so unique and its kind of like how even if your president is shit, wasting money and really does **** all you stand by him, we stand by our royalty even if its only in a loose sense, they have no real power of how the country is run but they are stil what makes us british. atleast imo also i didnt watch the wedding im not that fussed about it but i am happy for them
