Sadly for you guys who live there, America is pretty much already dead. =/
She doesn't look/sound insane, she's just very educated into this matter and she's trying to share her thoughts.

America started dying the minute the second Bush got elected to office.

No wait, make that the minute when Congress and House decided big businesses are more important than the citizens.

I read it and I stand by my statement. There's a difference between dying and being already dead. I just thought that was a dumb statement, especially from someone who has never lived here.

There is time to salvage the downward spiral we're in - but I don't have faith in that happening. With all the ridiculous uproar about birth certificates and God's will and Planned Parenthood no one can get to the root of the issue. Not to mention the collective intelligence of the average person...

''According to the latest IMF official forecasts, China's economy will surpass that of America in real terms in 2016 — just five years from now.''

''Just 10 years ago, the U.S. economy was three times the size of China's.''

These two quotes sum it up pretty good.

exactly Sae, if it's dying and not even you don't see anything changing in the future, it's like it's already dead... it's just a matter of time. =/ There indeed is time to fix it, but not enough people who can change something, or at least to realise what's going on. Sorry if I sounded too harsh with my statement, it just makes me angry when I see people closing their eyes at what's happening in their country and saying "Oh it's all great, that's just lies and stupid conspiracies".

nothing new. none of you ever heard of the global shift? the economical core has been slowly moving from the west to the east. though I didn't expect it to happen this fast.

What can you expect really? We need to stop this Liberal Arts crap education we have going on and move more into science/math/finance/amagement. We only go to school for half the year, while many students in China go for 3/4th of the year, and get tons of homework for the days they have off.

Unless you're talking about college, I don't know of any school that goes less than 3/4 of the year.

This thread is really dramatic lols
Just cause economic growth of china is more than of the US doesnt mean the US "dies" and everyone leaves the country looking for a place to hide

Its obvious that the growth would be epic in china and india because of the very cheap labor compared to say, Europe or US, especially during recessions.
And just cause China's economy becomes bigger than the US's doesnt mean the the US wont have any impact in the world and goes back in the dark ages, just look at japan. 3rd largest economy in the world and they dont have it so bad do they (in terms of lifestyle) :sohappy:

Well America and China don't share the same views. But America was never always on the top. Does anyone remember the cold war? Once the USSR collapsed America became number one and it has remained that way unchallanged. If china doesn't collapse also (though it has before when it was growing economic strength) America will now have to actually do something to stay on top.

A little competition never hurt anyone.
Heck, maybe even China getting the #1 spot, would make our presidents actually do something instead of spending trillions of dollars on random stuff.

We should start practicing isolationism and stop getting into other countries affairs, we're waisting money on so much just to help someone else have revolution when all in all it should be them fighting for whats right.

We used to do that exact same thing almost. We only entered WWI/II because we were attacked ourselves and wanted payback. We did just fine being by ourselves but now it's like America made it it's duty to "police" the world.

This somewhat relates on my view on America. It's dying. Some people don't want to admit it, but the way this country is acting, it will fall. It's only a matter of time.

china having a larger economy doesn't mean anything. there's so many other factors that effect life in a country. most of that money doesn't even benefit the population... remember a lot of chinese work in large almost unregulated sweatshops with high rates of suicide. they still lack even basic rights. their media is among the most heavily censored in developed/developing countries.

money = power

biggest economy = most power

the changes won't take effect immediately, but as time passes the U.S. will lose it's power.

The book Apocalypse published by the Watchtower talks about how within the Bible there were prophecies made that all great empires will eventually fall, gives the examples of Rome, Assyria, Ancient Egypt, Babylon etc, and then mentions the next in line, The U.N., the U.S. and Great Britain.

the bible also stated the eagle and the bear will fight and destroy the world.

possibly meaning america and russia will start world war 3.

im really hoping its not in my lifetime so i dont gotta deal with communism and war.

to bad we cant just nuke china and russia and wait for the fallout to be over.

problems would be solved.
