What (creation, invention, event, projects) do you think is unnecessary that we should rather spend time, effort and resource on something more useful instead?
Ex: video games. I think that it's unnecessary since people are able to live for 2000 years without video games and it doesn't make any major positive impact on the evolution and civilization of mankind.

+1 No challenges no growth. I mean there is no point in talking about the things that are unnecessary that wont go away. They're here for a reason and that is to give us a chance to grow.

facebook, twitter and all the other social networks
there's plenty of other alternatives for those, that actually seem to have a social aspect to them. + facebook/twitter are spamming the world with bullshit (srsly, add facebook friends on starcraft2??)

Religion. All the temples, churches and stuff look cool(except the pics about jesus and stuff, but their purpose is pointless. It's just loads of wasted money, recources and lives. And i don't like the fact that people who are non-believers still get buried under those damn crosses. Having faith in urself and in the future is enough, cos if u can't help urself, no one can. And those who only count on the help of someone else, are weak imo.
So that's my opinion, but just in case, i'll leave my flame shield on for a while.
Other than that, there are loads of stuff not nessecary, but people just wanna have some fun, don't they?

Care to elaborate? For example, video games, how does it give us a chance to grow (in what? penis?)
How does war benefit anything? Would it be better if people start a WW3?

I agree with this. people spend more time on computers with virtual friends rather than going out for real.

everything that you face in life means to teach you something.
With no war there can't be peace.

It's easy to look at the past and blah blah anything you want. But do you really WW3 to happen? What's the point of learning everything if you don't know how to filter what's necessary to learn, with what cost??

listen, i'm not talking about myself, i'm talking of human people as a group.
I might be very evolved (or not, just givin an example, i really am tho, hahaha) and be able to filter everything and give meaning to what's important without suffering much pain and all that, but we as a group still can't do that, we still can't function together so we need pain to be able to appreciate things, as a group.

so it's good to have a WW3?

Rocket science. Humanity could survive for more then 2000 years without it, why do we need it?
