Playing on Power Saver mode

...will harm my laptop somehow? (Power Options > Power Saver Mode)
It doesn't make so much noise
the temperature goes normal
it's cooler
the game has some lags, but everything goes alright.
I don't see any other difference (other than making the game faster)
I have a feeling that if I am not using my gfx, and a 3D game is running... I don't know, it could harm my laptop somehow, so I need advice on this.

With the default power savings mode in Windows it will
underclock the CPU/GPU if they get too hot rather then using a fan.
underclock the system to reduce power needs/heat
pretty much lower everything so energy savings > performance.
Will it harm your laptop. No it will not. You are basicly using 50% of your computers performance power vs 100%

Thanks for the feedback, Lady Amarisa.
However, I am a bit confused here as my knowledge on "under clocking" it is obsolete.
Do you mind explain me further on how to get that done?
Thanks in advance. ^.^
EDIT:
http://www.ehow.com/how_6924696_undercl ... essor.html I followed this and settled it to 40% is that good? :o

sro doesn't really take alot of resoures. power saver mode extends battery life, useful when ur not playing on charger.

Under clocking is basicly taking say a 3.2GHz CPU and making it say 2.6GHz.
To do it by hand would require software that is not exactly recomended at least on a laptop. Unless your bios settings (the whole press f2 to enter setup) allows you to change those settings.
Another thing that can bring heat down is under volting the CPU. This normally isn't harmful to the system because it is meant to handle the stock voltage.

Rather than lagging there isn't any harm to the laptop that i am aware of .
