I've done some research but I'm still confused on the subject.

So I want to add my hotmail to a gmail account just for its features and what not. Before I go through the process, I was wondering if I'll still be able to get emails that are attached to my hotmail?

Example: GW2 Newsletter always send emails to my hotmail whenever there's an update. If I attach my hotmail to my gmail, will I still be getting those emails from GW2 Newsletter?

Create 2 dummy @mails, let them have sex and profit.

edit: overlooked the subscription aspect of the question but maybe .... you can wait a couple of days to find out if your subscriptions work ?
