So who saw the big ass moon last night, or even knew that the moon was at its biggest yesterday night? It appeared to be 14% larger and about 30% more luminous!!!!
I went out with my girlfriend, sat on the hood of the car on a hill. Very epic
I saw it, though I was a bit too late to see it at max size. it was indeed very luminous. A friend of mine made a photo of it. Unfortunately his camera isn't that great. I got out my spy glass. Wish I could've used my telescope, but it's too heavy, and the only good view I could get with it is from my parents' room (and this was at about 2am).

I'm no expert on these kind of stuffs, but I think it might be only for europe or something. It's probably on other dates for the other continents, depending on the earth's equator angle.

People were acctually afraid it would bring another tsunami to Japan since it's so close and that it basiclly controlls the tide...
