After seeing Isis' thread I thought I'd finally make my own thread about them. Thing is I really want to get a tattoo but I'm not sure where to get it. Its gotta be easily concealable so my mum and teachers don't notice it.
I'm 16 now, almost 17 so I can get my tattoo pretty soon (18 (however 16 is fine if I have consent from my mum, slim chance of that though) and I haven't decided on a location to get it yet. I want to get the words "Oh, Hello" and thought wrist/shoulder would be a nice place to get it. Any other ideas?

Before I begin on the suggestions, I can't really say that your tattoo is the best idea. I mean honestly, do you really want that on your body forever? It may seem uniue and cool now, but as you mature, will the 'lulz' effect still be there?
In regards to both the nature of your tattoo and it's corresponding spot, get it on your penis. Imagine the hilarity of a girl going down on your to suddenly see a giant "Oh, hello!" staring at their face. Brilliant.

Hmm well I think its really good, not supposed to be funny but I guess it is a little. And great idea, I've thought of that but do I really want that on my body forever? It may seem unique and cool now, but as I mature, will the 'lulz' effect still be there?

I'd say think about it first. I had some tattoo ideas from a few years ago that I think are completely retarded now but I also have a few that I still think look great. I'd say give yourself about a year or two... if in 1 or 2 years, you still like the idea, then go for it. I wouldn't mind doing piercings without putting too much thought into it first (my industrial was unplanned) but I can't say the same for tattoos. They're very hard (and expensive) to remove...and even if you do, it's bound to leave a few marks later on.
In addition to this, if you're gonna' get a tattoo, please don't go cheap. Do not go cheap. Do not hold your wallet back. The difference between a great (but pricey) artist and a regular dude with a tattoo needle is worlds apart.
As far as the design goes...don't go for anything too radical. If the idea could be offensive to other people, I would suggest not doing it at all. If it's a Chinese/Japanese symbol, a dragon, a phoenix, or a tiger - give it a second...maybe 2 years...before you do it.
You don't have to have it now. I'm still in college and even though I have my own money from working part-time, I'm "of-age," and I know some people who could refer me to some really great tattoo artists who do custom designs, I don't have mine yet. I'll wait until I'm all settled in and paying for the roof above my head... but that's just me.

I feel like it's more of having the ability TO hide it, should you ever want/need to do so.
I know that where I worked last, you weren't allowed to have and visible tattoos. I assume it's probably the same elsewhere.

since were talking about dicks and tattoos heres a few suggestions, you could get a tattoo of my dick on your dick, but you'd have to get yours enlarged first. that or get a tattoo that looks like you have festering herpes sores and when the ladies see them just be like "no baby, thats just a tattoo."
awesomeness.

My advise to you, is to think long and hard about what your first tattoo will be. My first tattoo, I am now having it removed, it could be nearly a year before it will be removed fully. Male sure you go to someone you know with a good reputation, as again like my first one, it wasn't very well done a looked rediculas. Also with the whole pain thing, done get it done where you'd think it will be extremely painful. I was told when I got the one done on my ribs, I could pretty much get one done anywhere done on myself, with the whole pain thing.
Also in England you have to be 18 and over to get a tattoo, even if you have got parents concent.

Wtf, I was thinking the same. And I agree with the rest. Think it well, if you want a a tatto, what's the point if you're going to hide it. Yeah, might look bad ass, but it's really something you should think of it carefully..

My rule of thumb for tattoos is think of an idea. Hold onto it for a year and then after that year, if you still have that idea in mind, go for it.
Hasn't failed yet and I have 3 tattoos, going for my 4th this month.
My left wrist has my parent's initials, that was my first tattoo. My second tattoo is on my right inner forearm, it says "Now or Never". My third tattoo is 3 bumbles on my right bicep. The significance of that is that mine and my two sister's names all start with B. Thus, 3 bees.
My 4th will be an eagle with a rose in it's beak or claws, haven't solidified that yet. That represents my mom and step dad. Their first tattoos were an eagle for him and a rose for her, so I combined them.
tl;dr
Make sure you are positive about what you want to get.

Thinking of getting this one...well, one of many.
It's Audrey Kawasaki's artwork - she doesn't do tattoos but her work has been used so many times.

with designs around her as well since it's gonna be a half sleeve.

Well guys as I said I'm still 16 so it'll be a year and a bit until I can get one.

School doesn't allow it and my mum would freak, so I'd just want to hide it from them. If you guys had read my post you'd know that

Ok, so you want it even against the rules because you are rebel and want to look cool? o_o
I don't know man, if that's the case then one in your arm (slightly where you T-shirt starts to cover). I wanted one small in my hand, but then again, consequences are bad D:
Other than that, a tattoo sticks with you forever or until a special treatment.
I'm not against tattoos, if you want it go ahead, but seems like there are people that don't agree with tattoos (like your mum? lul)

Get the words printed on a piece of paper and stick it on your ceiling ontop of your bed. That way you will see those words regularly. After a month, if those words still sound good to you then get it.

It sound nice at your age.I did tatto to my arm and it was cool at the beginning.I m gonna start to laser surgery to erase it because i m a bussiness man right now and i never wear short sleeved things at the office so summer time is nightmare for me.I m gonna tell about how laser surgery works.Healthy laser surgery is at least 5 session and 1 month 1 session. There is no guarantee ur skin turn back to pure.I searched alot and found those informations. If someone know opposite pls post here.

Yep you gotta think about it.
You can always get those non-permanent tattoo's, you know, those who stick for a few months. ( NO! i do not mean those tattoo's you get with your bubblegum)

Cannot stress getting an ABLE tattoo artist enough.
So many failures that I know have not only gone in with a ridiculous design but asked a CHEAP person to execute it.
And they do exactly that, slaughter that person's body forever.

All my tattoos I am able to hide, I think the harder one to hide is Nefertiti on the back of my neck. But I have long hair and can hide it when I wear my hair down. I wouldn't get a tattoo, that you can't hide. Because of future careers, and finding work.

Its a little freaky if you think about it though, he looks like he's in his teens or early 20's but types like 40 y/o in a mid life crises wondering about some philosophical shit or something.
Not to say twillie is wrong in what he says he's just a bit verbose...
