*WARNING: extremely graphic* Mod Edit: Since youtube has allowed it (for now), I'll also allow it as a link (not embedded since the still image is kinda gory). Again, you've been warned, gore + blood will be shown, watch at your own risk. Link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=faUh97nq6CI *WARNING: extremely graphic*
dismembered limbs, people cut in half with guts leaking out, etc
Qaddafi is batshit insane to being using anti aircraft weaponry against unarmed people in the streets! Someone really needs to do something about this...

you shouldn't be posting this here. it's way too graphic for most of the members on SRF.

I don't agree. Disconn3cted wants to confront us with the facts, and I think that is the best way to spread this news.

it's just horrible, you know for all the wars my country gets into, it could at least get into a useful one and save lives.

This is obviously unjust and completely inhumane. I just hope that if they do manage to overthrow the dictatorship, the next guy in charge won't turn into another egomaniac dictator who is willing to butcher the people he swore to serve for the purpose of self interest.

They were shot by fighter jets (aircraft meant to shoot other aircraft).

So America shouldn't go to war with people who attack us, but we should go to war with people who attack their own people? Man what were we thinking? Saddam Hussein would never have done this to his people...
I have a hard time getting my head around the way the libs think.(@Gaige)

I have to correct you here. Saddam did even worse things than here. You can get videos in Iraq where see how Saddam tortured people. It was filmed by his officers (don't ask me why) and the things you see there are 10000000 worse than this video, because the people on those films are still alive and you can hear their screams and suffering. Believe me, all those dictators in the Middle-East are beyond crazy. They don't see the people of their country as humans, but as beasts.
@ inky
I understand what you're trying to say, but I don't think this is approriate for SRF. But if this makes people aware of what is really happening over there, than the vid. should stay on SRF.

Easier said then done. I am 100% sure you wouldn't raise your voice, and be a revolutionary leader, but I am not trying to imply I or many would. But what is going on in the middle east atm is very poignant to me at least, I am not speaking of the deaths, but the amount of people going out and fighting a revolution, they are fighting for their freedom, even at the risk of death.
The saddest thing about this entire revolution if the people win: the dictator, and his close friends/family will escape in the end and have a rich retirement, much like Mubarak.

i understand.. your some what correct.. you see i was raised in Egypt... and im gonna tell you one thing.. if you saw how much the mentality of the people over their changed is just shocking.. i did join the NY protest =) and if i was in Egypt would have joined the protest too.. look at whats going on in Egypt now they went to the streets again but they are cleaning it and painting the road and cleaning the country.. think of it this way some of those super rich dictators will escape with billions of dollars and enjoy it.. but thats just a loss.. look at the bright side they took their freedom back and they have a chance to fix their country and change it !!

Ok I'm having some contradicting facts here. On the morning news it stated that it was two rouge pilots who believed in the Regime that stole airplanes and attacked the protesters.
So was this an ordered attack or rouge?

Stealing airplanes from a military base? Even if they were stationed at that base it still sounds ridiculous.
