Im not really sure if this should be in the other games section. give it a little time here before you move it though plez.
my six your old loves pokemon. she talks about it with her friends and people who dont want to talk about it. so, since i used to play Magic: The Gathering when i was younger i figured id start playing pokemon with her.
we got this:

that comes with 2 "Training" decks of 30, it can be combined to make a standard deck. with that being the case im going to buy another deck, is there any one in particular any of you would recommend?? anything else you can suggest that i get accessory wise??

oh, to actually answer your question. If you're just messing around, just buy another type of starter deck, it's the most cost efficient.

For old times sake....i actually remember the first day this ever came on tv, showing my age now :(

And to answer your question try this, i think going

Looks like that starter pack has an electric and water theme. Buy one that has a grass and ground theme to devastate her with your super effective attacks. Then slowly push her and her friends towards magic because it is more mentally stimulating and rewarding than pokemon(the card game).

My dad never played pokemon with me :( instead he forced me to miss the 1st ever pokemon episode aired on tv, because I had a STUPID piano lesson :(

GO CELL GO! Buy her all the original editions, especially the Yellow one! Those are by FAR the best, Blue, Red, are also awesome. :) Now it looks way too complicated :(

Anyone had this reaction Image

lol. i dont doubt it, but when you have kids, things are different. i personally liked pokemon when it first came out, i thought it was a good wholesome show, and i moved on. now that my kid is old enough to enjoy it, i guess its a good way to bond and relate.
