Just played on the News too. Have no idea if I have a cap on my Internet, would have to ask my dad. :( My ISP is rather big(Shaw) so don't know if it would affect me.

Lol you're a Farking retard, have you ever heard of Alexander Graham Bell? I doubt it, considering you're making such retarded posts in this thread. But what do you expect from someone named Squirt?

By the way time to ring the bell and learn your history!

As a matter a fact I do, as well as the companies. I took AP us history and passed that shit with a 5, so I probably know more about US history than you do okay?
Would an idiot be taking advanced placement classes? No I didn't think so.

So really, your the only idiot here for assuming that someone is stupid based on a sarcastic remark.
Want me to analyze that rhetorically for you as well?

I can make an intelligent post if I wanted to, but I choose to fool around instead. If you have a problem with my posts why not just, you know, skip them? Ignore?

All trolling aside, online petition are, for the most part, ignored. And as it seems, the policy has already passed? I'm clueless when it comes to Canadian politics, so at this point, is there much that can be done? Anything better than an online petition?

Mass protest.

I hate greedy Farking companies. The infrastructure is there for unlimited bandwidth. The only places that may not have the infrastructure are cell based services... but here is an idea:

Instead of rolling out faster service every few months (1X -> 3G -> 4G LTE etc), why don't they work on the backbone of the service to allow for more users/unlimited bandwidth. Woohoo, 4G LTE gets 20MB down and up, but there is a 5GB/month cap. Useless.

/slightly offtopic rant.

UBB is a straight up middle finger to the consumer.

What does Alexander Graham Bell have to do with US history? Besides the fact he worked there for some years? Most of the (if not all the of the work of the phone) happened in Brantford.

Also I could give two shits what you're taking (maybe you should take English to understand the difference between your, and you're), you still are ignorant, and don't say other wise, because I've seen many post from you in which are just flat out stupid. I don't have a problem with your posts unless they contain no use of intelligence in a subject which is actually pretty big. The fact that CRTC past this will only provoke American companies to follow in this bullshit, and start using a UBB.

Also about my name... So what I created this account when I was younger (probably while you were still in grade school), you got a problem with that?

I've read a lot of qq from kids that don't realize this only affects small independent resellers. Your parents, with Bell and Rogers, have been paying UBB for a long time.

That's what I though, doubt it'll affect me seeing as I'm with a pretty large ISP. That being said, it's still a thing to look out for. It's basically limiting your choices(ISP) to only a couple big compagnies.

im not sure but i think they will have the caps still like 50gb/month but if you run over they will charge you the 2 bucks a gig.

at least thats how i interpreted it with the newspaper article.

btw if you can get telus get telus instead of shaw, they have higher caps.
