i was on the league of legends forums, saw a picture link claiming this guy had world's first whatever, stupid me clicked it and then out of nowhere, this virus malware called antivirus 8 got installed and now i need help on getting rid of it. i'm running windows 7 and it won't let me get on IE to download malwarebytes or any other program to uninstall.
much help would be appreciated, and i'm not really computer savvy so sorry if i seem like i don't know anything. thanks.

I agree with cpinney on the solution though. Also you should try running a scan antivir or avg when this "antivirus 8" is cleaned. Idk what it is but it could be a backdoor client happily inviting others to the party.
