25%

Every new year that passes I realize that that is 1 less year of life. Thinking about it today I realize that the cliche "life is short" is f'ng true.
If the averse life span is 80 years ( assuming it's not a third world country and you don't become terminally sick) then that means by the time you reach the age 20 you'll have already lived 25% of your life.
It's even less with the time that is spent sleeping( 10 hours night * days lived) that's slot of wasted time.

Life is short D=!

lol then we cease to exist, and our bodies blend in with nature, and that whole time we have no thought or anything, though thankfully there will be no perception of time, so hopefully after breaking astronomical odds again and the exact same molecules that formed you before come into play again, just the lack of memory now. peace.

False perception due to the lack of memory. You feel it's short because you merely remember what you did each day from the day you were born.

If you were given the capability to remember each minute, each day of your life, you'd feel how long each year passed.

Who wanna live until they are 80 anyways? I am fine if I live until I am 50, after that it will just be lame and I rather be dead.

This.
Probably the only reason to stay alive after 35 are your kids..

Well, technically if you live to 80, you've only lived 53 years.
Sleep takes 1/3 of your life, on average.

8 hours a day out of a 24 hour day is one third.

Sleep a normal 7/8 hours and you will already gain 2 á 3 hours every day!

I'd like to live until I'm about 80... as long as I'm in good health. xD

Isn't this topic pretty ironic, Squirt? Your complaining about how short life is and how little time we get, yet your sitting here wasting more time by simply talking about the fact that life is short. This post is just a symbol of your life on SRF, your spending an insane amount of your time doing 'relatively nothing'. Just look at your own post count if you want further proof.

If the idea is that life is too short I pose to you this: Why is it too short? Is it too short because your not achieving what you want to achieve in life? Or is it too short because the idea of an impending doom is too much to contemplate, to which a throwaway statement is made on your behalf in order to take the burden of blame off yourself and put responsibility upon an unalterable force. Or is it simply too short because you 'feel' it should be longer?

Here's a though: stop complaining. We all know that our time on this earth is finite. This isn't to be questioned, it's a fact. Instead of sitting around complaining about how short life is and how unsatisfied you are with that concept, go out there and just live your dam life. Achieve what is you wish to achieve, work hard at conquering your dreams and make the most of each opportunity you have. If you do that, you'll actually be content with your life and not be mournful at the idea of your life suddenly being cut short before your dreams have been fulfilled.

Instead of questioning why there isn't enough time, you should ask yourself if your really making the best use of the time you blessed with.

In reality, life is the longest thing you'll ever experience.

Err, no.
I'dd gladly live on at 35, even without kids.
Enough things you can still do at that age, enough fun to have, things to see, places to visit and experience.

To me it seems like life will only not be worth it when the time comes that all you can do is lay in bed, having many pains, losing memmories you don't want to lose etc.
Or if you're at a really old age and you lose the one you love- as most people aren't to social anymore at that age and will be left alone with an ocasional visit from family.

Anyhow, 35 is way to young.. i'dd gladly live on for however long i may stay healthy.

Duh life is short. The problem isn't that, it's that there is too much to do and not enough time to do it!

I made a list when I was younger of the things I wanted to do.

-have sex in an elevator
-have sex in a pool
---there's more than those two but you get the idea
-fly a plane
-parasail
-parachute
-be a millionaire by 50
-cure cancer
-cure something
-make a contribution to mankind in SOME way

etc
At least I have done more than a few on my list and I still have a lot of time left. I think it'd be cool to parachute on my 80th birthday. Hell ya! :D

Life is short but to live is long
The night is short but the day is long
My girl is hot and I am not wrong
I don't do sport but my dick is strong
It reaches her G-spot because it's long
Her pussy is so hot that I can't shot wrong
She feels her body so hot coz my sperm vibrate strong
She find me very hot coz my hair is long.
I do the final shot and she screams so strong.
And then she cries a lot, "why it takes so long"?

:sohappy:

You just got to do a ton of stuff to realize that life is long....You ever had lots to do in a day? Those are the days that seem to last forever...its all about perception...sitting on your bum behind a PC screen or any other single endeavor will seem like a waste and time and will seem to fly...So just try to do multiple things..

Once, on a teacher evaluation I wrote in the commentary section that i'd like to live my last hour in her class because it always feels like eternity.

Just wanted to share :P

No shit sherlock? If you care about your existance so much why you're not trying something new, something exciting and extraordinary, but make useless threads like this? Life's a bitch thats what I've learned so far, you should understand this aswell by now.
