Gahh.

Wikipedia is just like, so annoying.

I started out reading about Canada, then it came to the list of country sizes, then the Kingdom of the Netherlands, then the West Frisian Language, then the municipality I live in, to my municipal capital, and atm I've just finished reading about my little village.

God damnit I hate it so much...

But I love it so much at the same time.

Thoughts?

I remember a fun little game which had the purpose of getting to a certain page the fastest, via the 'Random page' button on the mainpage. Fun times :')

i agree with this. . ive learnt much more off this website that at school IMO, But then again the English school i went to i hated everything about it. .

Yeah it is true. I've never been a wizz with that stuff school gives me to do at home, but a good Wikipage is always a nice read.

Thanks to Wikipedia I'm the best in class with English, Topography and History.

The difference between school and Wikipedia is that whenever you use Wikipedia, you look up whatever interests you. So of course your going to pay more attention to it/learn more from it.

This year I'm in a regular World History class and it is so easy, that out of the 90 minute periods I finish all my work in about 10 minutes. I spend the rest if the time playing on my IPod.
Everyone else is so slow.
I think the reason for public education failing is those students that just don't care holding the class back.

But I don't really trust Wikipedia as anyone can edit the info

People love to read Wikipedia articles because its their choice to read it, unlike school.
I took many lessons about the World War through my school education, but I never knew anything until I read about it in Wikipedia, same to many subjects.

This makes me think of the time that someone died and some people put well timed intentionally false info for the wikipedia entry. This lead to news papers and I think tv news to quote it which they later had to retract and admit to poor research.
